CMA DISHMACHINES EST-44-66 Conveyor Dishwashers
Product Information: The EST-44/66 is a commercial dishwashing machine that requires both electrical and plumbing connections to be made by a licensed service person and comply with all Federal, State, and Local Health, Electrical, Plumbing, and Safety codes. The machine has a 1 1/2 Final Rinse Water Inlet, 2 1/2 Fill Water Inlet, Electrical Connection, Scrap Trap Drain, Mixing Chamber, Hot Water Supply Line 1/2 Inlet, Drain Plumbing Not Supplied, Detergent Fitting Inlet, and 2 Hole Plug. The machine has a stainless steel Wash Thermostat, Drain Valves, and a Pressure Regulator located behind the Control Box. The machine also features a Door Safety Switch, Rinse Thermostat, Rinse and Wash Temperature Gauges, Auto/Manual Switch, Power On/Off Switch, and an optional Vent Hood.
Product Usage Instructions
- Connect the Hot Water Supply Line to the 1/2 Final Rinse Water Inlet.
- Connect the Fill Water Supply Line (120F/140F) to a 1/2 water inlet to fill the machine. Close the drain valve before filling the machine with water.
- For 3 Phase connection, connect the wire with the highest voltage (stinger lead) to L2 on the contactor. L1, L2, and L3 must comply with all local and state electrical codes for the sizing of wire and circuit breaker protection.
- Connect the drain at either end of the horizontal drain pipe from the wash tank or scrap trap drain.
- Remove the plugs to install the detergent fitting and Sani/rinse injection fitting (sanitizer, detergent and rinse injection fittings provided by dispenser manufacturer, which CMA does not supply).
- Remove the stainless steel plug to install the detergent probe (provided by the dispenser manufacturer, CMA does not supply it).
- Remove the motor cap to verify motor rotation. The shaft slot should be rotating clockwise when the motor is running. If the shaft slot is turning counter-clockwise, swap L-1 and L-3 on the main contactor.
- Adjust the thermostat if necessary. Water temperature should be 140F rinse and 140F wash for EST44L. The EST44H should read 180F rinse and 155F wash.
- Switch the Manual/Auto switch to Manual Mode.
- Adjust the Pressure Regulator Valve to 20 PSI.
- If E-Temp is installed on the machine, press the rinse switch to fill the E-Temp tank. Return the Manual/Auto switch to Auto Mode.
- Turn on the dish machine by pressing the Power On/Off switch to the ON position. The dish machine will fill automatically and will also activate the heater.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Electrical and plumbing connections need to be made by a licensed service person and comply with all Federal, State, and Local Health, Electrical, Plumbing, and Safety codes.
- Connect Hot Water Supply Line to the 1/2″Final Rinse Water Inlet. SEE STEP 11.
- Connect the Fill Water Supply Line (120F/140F) to a 1/2″water inlet to fill the machine.
- Phase: Connect the wire with the highest voltage (stinger lead) to L2 on the contactor. L1, L2, and L3 must comply with all local and state electrical codes for the sizing of wire and circuit breaker protection. Additional information can be found in the Installation and Operation manual supplied with the machine.
- Connect the drain at either end of the horizontal drain pipe from the wash tank or scrap trap drain.
- Remove the plug to install the detergent fitting. Remove plugs from the mixing chamber to install sani/rinse injection fitting (sanitizer, detergent and rinse injection fittings provided by dispenser manufacturer, CMA does not supply.)
