Dear consumer, Please read these instructions carefully before use in order to avoid damage due to incorrect use and to better understand the functions of this product. Please pay particular attention to the safety guide. If you pass the device on to a third party, these Operating Instructions must also be handed over. Please keep them for future references.

SPECIAL SAFEGUARDS
- Unroll the power cord completely.
- Check that the tension in force in the country where you are corresponds to that indicated on the apparatus.
- Connect the apparatus in a socket-outlet in good state, and connected to the ground, to avoid any danger.
- Disconnect the power source cable before any operation of cleaning of maintenance and accessories assembly.
- Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Before plugging in your new Raclette grill, check to see that the electric circuit is not overloaded with other appliances. This unit should always be operated on a separate 220-240 volt, AC outlet which is able to supply min.16A
- Be certain that your unit is resting level on the countertop. Avoid using pans that are unstable and easily tipped. Place pan under heating element.
- Turn the switch on 1 position. The pilot light will glow indicating the heating element is energized and heating will begin immediately
- The metal surfaces will become hot. Do not touch while is use. When cooking is finished, turn the thermostat back to « O » position.
- The surface is hot when using or before cooled. Never touch the appliance before it’s cooled to avoid scald.
- If the hotplate is not to be in use for a long period of time, it is recommended to unplug unit from the outlet. This helps to prevent accidental burns.
USING YOUR RACLETTE
- Plug in the appliance.
- Put the switch at the position “MIN”, the indicator comes on. Pre-heating time is 5 – 8 min for the grill,
- Because the surface is very hot, it is recommended to put the appliance on anti-flame and heat-proof cushion. It is also recommended that the minimal distance between wall or environmentally components is not shorter than 15cm.
- It is possible that slight smoke smell comes out when first using.
- When first use, drop some oil on the surface of plate then wipe it with dry cloth.
- In order not to destroy the plating of Teflon, when turning or moving food, make sure a wooden shovel is used.
- Don’t put other mini pan which does not match the whole set on the appliance.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
- Reasonable care will insure many years of service from your unit. Avoid dropping items on the heating elements.
- Always unplug unit from electrical outlet and allow to cool before cleaning or maintenance operation and accessories assembly.
- NEVER IMMERSE IN WATER or other liquid.
- Use damp soapy cloth or sponge to clean surface of hotplate, chrome burner ring, drip pan and base.
- The sponge or cloth should only be damp without water dripping to avoid water leaking into the hotplate.
- NEVER USE HARSH ABRASIVES OR STEEL WOOL PADS ON ANY PART OF UNIT.
- Any servicing other than cleaning should be performed by an authorized service centre.
Note: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is required, extension cords are available from local hardware stores and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used,
- the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least 16A, 250V, 3000W and
- the longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over nor should it touch any part of the hotplate body.
STORAGE
- Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry.
- Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this will cause damage.
- Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place.
This unit is equipped with an electrical outlet with earth and must be earthed
in an according plug.
Note: In the event of question concerning the earth or electric
connection, please consult a qualified personnel.
In the event of short-circuit, earthing reduces the risk of electric shock
while making possible the current to be evacuated by the wire of ground.
CAUTION: In order to minimize the risks of electric shock, In the event
of breakdown, not to open the case but to call upon a qualified technician for
repairs.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove cover, no user serviceable
parts inside. To prevent the risk of electric shock, DO NOT USE the set with
broken power cord or broken plug. Allrepair works must be made by a
professional (authorized distributor). NEVER TRY TO REPAIR the cord or plug by
yourself. Please take the damaged set to your local authorized maintenance
centre for repairing or change.
Always Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.

inform your local authorities about the places where you can return this
