Product Usage Instructions

Assembly

Inspect and gather all components listed in the box.

Follow the assembly manual to set up the Flowline Master with Placid Stabilizing Arm.

Flowline Master Setup

1. Remove Placid from foam packing.
2. Join support bar sections 1 and 2 using a push-fit technique.
3. Insert the Placid arm into the support bar and secure it with a knob.
4. Attach a safety shock cord to secure the Placid arm.
5. Adjust buckles at the chest and waist for a secure fit.
6. Attach the camera to the camera hook and tighten the knob.

Safety Belt Attachment

Secure the safety belt to the support jacket and attach it to the camera for additional safety.

Adjust the balance using the Balance Adjustment Knob as needed.

CAUTION : Do not release the lever without removing the setup to prevent damage.

Detaching the Placid

Use an Allen key to remove the spring from the camera hook.

Detach the Placid arm by unscrewing the safety elastic cord.

Cord Assembly

1. Insert the cord into the cup and attach the cord lock.
2. Secure the cord and insert it into the cup.
3. Attach the camera hook to the flowline support bar.

• Q: How do I adjust the balance of my setup?
  • A : Use the Balance Adjustment Knob to adjust the balance anti-clockwise according to the weight of your setup.
• Q: What should I be cautious about when detaching the Placid arm?

Flowline Master with Placid Setup

• Remove the placid from foam packing. The placid arm has a cord attached to it. Join section 1 of the support bar to section 2 with a simple push-fit technique, as shown in the image.
• When assembled, the flowline master will look the same as shown in the image.
• Insert the placid arm into the support bar through the cord and secure it correctly with the help of a knob.
• To fix the placid arm at its appropriate position, attach one side of the safety shock cord to a knob on the placid arm. Then, drag the other side of the elastic cord across the flowline support arm, and attach it to the knob on the other side of the placid arm.
• Adjust & tighten the buckles provided at the chest and the waist.
• Loosen the knob of the camera hook and attach the camera to it. Tighten the knob to ensure a slip-free connection.
• When assembled, the flowline master will look the same as shown in the image.

For Safety Belt

• Attach one end of the safety belt with the support jacket and make a knot with the rest of the belt, as shown in the image. You can attach this belt in many areas according to your requirement.
• Attach the other end to your camera for more safety & protection.
• Through the balance adjustment Knob, you can adjust the balance anti-clockwise according to the weight of your setup.
  • CAUTION : Do not release the lever without removing the setup. It may result in severe damage to the camera.

Detach the Placid from the Flowline Master

• Get the spring off the camera hook with the help of an Allen key.
• Pull the camera hook cup through the cord and remove the remaining cord from the cup.
• To remove the placid arm from its position, unscrew one side of the safety elastic cord from the plaid arm’s knob. Then, pull the other side of the elastic cord out from the flowline support arm.
• Using an allen key, pull the mounting bracket of the placid arm out of the flowline support arm and remove the cord from the bracket. Make sure it comes out precisely through the hole in the placid arm.

Cord Assembly into Flowline Master

• Insert the cord into the cup. Then, attach the cord lock to the cord.
• Secure the cord properly with the cord lock and insert the cord bundle into the cup.
• Attach the camera hook to the flowline support bar, as shown in the picture.

Note : The camera hook will be below the flowline support bar while using the camera, and it will be up when attaching the placid, as shown in the image.
