Using a pencil, mark the screw hole locations. Use a center punch on the marked locations. Pre-drill mounting screw using a 1/8” drill bit. Insert Bracket into pocket (may need mallet to gently tap bracket into place) until flush with end of pocket. Secure the end plates into the pocket using the provided screws.

Install the Pocket-Celling Mount Only

Respecting the pre-drilled holes, mount pocket to ceiling using the appropriate mounting screws.

Important: Secure bracket to pocket/celling with supplied mounting screws.

Install the Shade

Important: Make sure the mounting surface is level. Brackets must be in line and level for shade to operate properly. Shim brackets if necessary.

Skyline Clutch

Motorization (1 1/2” to 2 1/2” tube)

First, place the spring loaded pin end into the round hole of the bracket. Then, keeping the pin end secure in its bracket, insert the hooks on the clutch or motor head straight into the two slots in the bracket. Once the two hooks are through the slots, gently pull downward on the side with hooks until the hooks have locked securely to the bracket. The bottom of the clutch or the reset button on the motor should point straight down.

Important: Do not to pull the lock pin until shade is securely assembled onto the brackets. First, place the spring loaded pin end into the round hole of the bracket. Then, keeping the spring loaded end secure in its bracket, insert the hooks on the control head straight into the two slots in the bracket. Once the two hooks are through the slots, gently pull downward on the side with two hooks until the hooks have locked securely to the bracket. Lastly, remove the lock pin prior to operation by pulling it down.
If for any reason needs to make an adjustment on the position of the installation brackets or need to remove the shade; raised the shade and insert the lock pin prior to disengaging the shade from the installation brackets.

Installing and Removing the Bottom Closure

Removing the Shade (Only If Necessary)

  • To install, insert the bottom closure into a pocket on an angle, and hook it onto the front side of the pocket. Once it is aligned, carefully allow front of bottom closure to drop in place. To remove, carefully raise the front of the bottom closure until the hook disengages from the pocket. Then, rotate the bottom closure and slowly remove it from the shade.
  • First, follow steps to remove the bottom closure. Then, gently lift the control unit (hooks end) to disengage, until the hooks touch the top part of the bracket slot. Pull the shade towards the spring-loaded pin end until the hooks are completely out of the bracket slots. Finally, remove the spring loaded pin end from the Idler bracket.

Installing the Beaded Cord Tensioner (Clutch Option Only)

Pull tension device down until the chain is taut and then move the tension device up approximately 1/8”. Mark the upper and lower screw hole and install the device with the screws provided. Important: Do Not Over-Tighten.

Child Safety

Young children can STRANGLE in cord loops and in the loop above the cord stop. They can also wrap cords around their necks and STRANGLE.

  • Always keep cords out of children’s reach.
  • Move cribs, playpens and other furniture away from cords. Children can climb furniture to get to cords.
  • Do not tie cords together.
  • Make sure cords do not twist together and create a loop.

WARNING

STRANGULATION HAZARD – Young chidren can be strangled by cords. Immediately remove this product if a cord longer than 22 cm or a loop exceeding 44 cm around becomes accessible. Rev 7/21 Print 7/21
