Assembly
Warning
A check valve must be installed on the pump’s discharge side (primary side)
to prevent pump backflow when the tap is opened.
A shut-off valve is installed at the suction point (secondary side) of the pump to simplify maintenance. A voltage-free assembly must be carried out with the horizontally positioned pump motor (the direction arrow on the pump body indicates the flow direction).
The circulation pump is installed in the pipe, usually directly in front of the service water storage tank, and in such a way that the water is pumped back from the central tapping point into the storage tank via the circulation pipe. When carrying out thermal insulation works, make sure that the pump motor and the electronics housing are not insulated.
Observe the permissible assembly positions:
Caution! Danger to life!
Improper assembly and improper electrical connection can be life-threatening. Hazards due to electrical energy must be excluded.

Filling and venting the system
Warning! Danger of burns!
Depending on the operating status of the system, the entire pump can become
very hot.
NOTE!
Before putting the pump into operation, the system must be thoroughly
flushed to ensure that no impurities or foreign bodies remain in the system.
To vent the system, the pump must run at its maximum speed. Incomplete venting
will result in increased noise during operation of the pump and the system.
Service and maintenance
The pump is almost maintenance-free. If the pump has not been in operation for
a long time or if the system is heavily contaminated, the rotor may block.
This is indicated by the upper LED flashing.
By removing the pump head (loosen the union nut and remove the pump head), the
impeller is accessible and can be removed. This allows a blockage to be
released and/or the pump to be cleaned. Then tighten the union nut with a
torque of 30 Nm.
Before carrying out maintenance, cleaning and repair works, disconnect the
system from the power supply and secure it against being switched on again by
unathorized persons. At high water temperatures and system pressures, wait for
the pump to cool down beforehand.
