Product Information
The PBX-1212 is a portable speaker that comes with various features such as Bluetooth connectivity, microphone input, guitar input, recording function, LED display, and disco ball party lights. It has a control panel that includes power on/off button, LED power switch, microphone volume knob, SD card input, guitar input jack, recording function button, music volume priority button, and more. It also comes with a remote control that can control the speaker’s power, volume, source selection, equalizer presets, and more. The speaker can be charged using the supplied charging cable and has a built-in battery that should be fully charged on the same day the battery runs out to protect its lifespan.
Product Usage Instructions
Charging the Speaker
- A full recharge takes 8-12 hours.
- Use the supplied charging cable to charge the speaker.
- When using the unit while it is plugged into an external power source, the battery switch can be ON or OFF.
- To protect the lifespan of the built-in battery, fully charge the unit on the same day the battery runs out. Not charging your unit right away can affect the performance of the battery.
Using Wired Microphone
- Insert the microphone plug into the microphone input jack.
- Adjust the microphone volume knob (MIC VOL) for proper volume.
- Adjust the echo depth to the proper position.
- You can now start using your microphone.
Connecting Bluetooth Devices
- Press the MODE button on the speaker or remote control to enter wireless mode, indicated on the LED display.
- Select QFX PBX-1212 in your device settings to pair.
- Once successful, you will hear a sound of notice on the speaker.
Precautions
To prevent operational problems or serious damage to the speaker unit, follow these precautions:
- Pull out the power cord from the end of the plug. Do not pull the wire.
- Keep the speaker away from other heat sources.
- Do not attempt to open the internal speaker unit or change the circuitry as this may cause the unit to be damaged or cause an electrical shock.
- If you are not going to use the unit for a long period of time, pull out the plug.

- POWER: Power On/Off button

- MIC PRIORITY: Music volume will lower when you speak into the mic
- PREV/CH: Short press for Previous Track in MP3 mode; Short press for previous channel in FM mode.
- LED DISPLAY: LED display
- PLAY/SCAN: Short press to play or pause in MP3 mode; Short press to Auto Scan and Preset available frequencies in FM mode
- NEXT/CH+: Short press for next Track in MP3 mode; Short press for next channel in FM mode.
- MODE: Toggle to select Bluetooth, Line, FM, USB/TF. Long press the MODE button to enable the TWS function

CHARGING THE SPEAKER

BLUETOOTH
- You can connect your compatible wireless bluetooth devices, such as a mobile phone, tablet etc., to listen to audio tracks.
- Press the MODE button on the speaker or remote control to enter wireless mode, indicated on the LED display.
- Select “QFX PBX-1212” in your device settings to pair, and once successful, you will hear a sound of notice on the speaker.
PRECAUTIONS

- If you are not going to use the unit for a long period of time, pull out the plug and store in a cool dry place.
- Ensure the speaker is properly ventilated & kept in a dry location. It is recommended that the speaker be kept a minimum of 4 inches away from any wall or object.
WARNING : Do not use this Speaker in any wet location, in the rain or a location with high moisture. Do not place any liquids or other objects on the Speaker as this may cause an accidental short.

The exclamation mark inside an equilateral triangle is intended to alert user
of the presence of the important operating and maintenance (servicing)
instructions in the literature accompanying the product.
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol inside an equilateral triangle is
intended to alert User of the presence of un-insulated “hazardous voltage”
within the product’s enclosure, which may be of sufficient magnitude to induce
a risk of electric shock to person
NOTES:
Please do not attempt to open the back cover or power adapter as opening or
removing the covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards, and
it will also cause the restricted servicing to be disabled: There are no user
servicing components inside.
PAIR 2 PBX-1212
STEP 1
Push the Mode Button on both speakers until the speakers are in Bluetooth Mode. The screen will display the word “Blue”
STEP 2
When both speakers are in Bluetooth mode, push and hold the TWS button for 3 seconds. You will hear a beep. Next time you put both speakers in Bluetooth mode at the same time, the speakers will connect automatically
STEP 3
On your device, turn your Bluetooth settings “ON”, you will then select “QFX PBX-1212”. Enjoy TWS (True Wireless Stereo) sound from your phone via Bluetooth!
