Product Information
The SSD & HDD adapter, product code AK-HDA-03, is a device that allows you to mount a 2.5-inch hard disk drive (HDD) or solid-state drive (SSD) into a 3.5-inch drive bay. It is designed to fit into most desktop computer cases and is compatible with various operating systems. The adapter comes with mounting screws for both the drive and the case, as well as a user manual in different languages including English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, and Russian. It also features electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection to prevent damage to your drives.
Product Usage Instructions
- Open your desktop computer case and locate an available 3.5-inch drive bay.
- Insert the SSD & HDD adapter into the drive bay, aligning the screw holes with those on the case.
- Secure the adapter to the case using the included case mounting screws.
- Attach the 2.5-inch HDD or SSD to the adapter using the included drive mounting screws.
- Connect the necessary power and data cables to the drive and your motherboard or power supply.
- Close your computer case and power on your system.
- If necessary, format and partition your new drive using your operating system’s disk management tools.
Note: Always ensure that your computer is powered off and unplugged before installing or removing any hardware components.
