Luna True Wireless Earbuds

Functions & controls

The control button lets you control the connected smartphone and set ANC modes on the earbuds.

• Play / pause
  Press 1x (left or right earbud).

• Next track
  Press right earbud 2x.

• Previous track
  Press left earbud 2x.

• Volume up
  Press right earbud for 2 sec.

• Volume down
  Press left earbud for 2 sec.

• Accept incoming call / end a call
  Press 1x (left or right earbud).

• Reject incoming call
  Press 2 sec. (left or right earbud).

• ANC / Ambient
  Press the right earbud 3x to switch between ANC on,
  Ambient Mode and ANC off.

• Voice assistant
  Press left earbud 3x.

• Turn the Rolfstone Luna on
  Open the charging case.

• Turn the Rolfstone Luna off
  Place the earbuds in the charging case and close it.

Connect for the first time
A manual connection must be made when the earbuds have not been connected to a Bluetooth device before:

1. Open the charging case.
2. Both earbuds will automatically turn on and will pair with each other.
3. Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and activate Bluetooth.
4. Wait until Rolfstone Luna appears and select it. The earbuds are ready to use.

Automatically reconnect

The earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last connected device.
On the previously connected device:

• Bluetooth must be enabled.
• Rolfstone Luna needs to be in the list of devices.

1. Open the charging case.
2.  Both earbuds will automatically turn on and will pair with each other.
   Hereafter the earbuds will search for a known Bluetooth device and automatically connect to it.

Disconnect the earbuds
By disconnecting the earbuds are free to connect to another device.
There are two methods to do this:
Method 1: at the bottom of the charging case you will find the disconnect button. Place the earbuds in the case and keep the case opened.
Press the button for 2 seconds. The earbuds will disconnect after a few seconds.
Method 2: open the Bluetooth settings on your device and disconnect the Rolfstone Luna.
If you want to reconnect the earbuds later, follow the steps on page 5.
Good to know

• The earbuds and the device must be within 10 meters (or 33 feet) of each other.
•  Intermediate objects such as walls can shorten the range.
• The earbuds can connect to one device at a time.
• The Rolfstone Luna earbuds will automatically turn off when placed in the charging case and when the case is closed.

•  The Rolfstone Luna earbuds are rain and sweat resistant. However,  they are not completely waterproof. Do not wash them under running water or use them underwater.

Charging the charging case

• A fully charged charging case allows you to charge the earbuds 4 times on the go.

• Check the battery level by pressing the button at the bottom of the charging case once.
  – 30-100% = Light turns white
  – 0-30% = Light flashes white
  – No light on = Less than 1%

• Charge the charging case with the included USB-C cable. Connect to a charger, laptop or desktop computer.

•  It takes around 80 minutes to fully charge the charging case.

• With the case on the charger, the light at the front of the case indicates the charging level:
  – Breathing white = Charging
  – White = Fully charged

• When the charging case is being charged and the earbuds are inside then the earbuds will also be charged.

• Don’t let the Rolfstone Luna earbuds and the charging case lay around in bright sunlight. This may damage and reduce the lifespan of the batteries.

• The charging case is designed to charge using a standard USB voltage (5v +- 0,25v). It is not recommended to charge the Luna using power supplies/sources with a higher voltage.

Charging the earbuds
Fully charged, the Rolfs tone Luna earbuds last 4.5 hours. When the ANC is off, the playback time may be longer.
When the earbuds are almost empty you will hear a notification tone.
Shortly after that the earbuds will be disconnected.

• Place the earbuds in the charging case. The earbuds will charge as soon as the case is closed.
• It will take about 70 minutes to fully charge the earbuds. Make a habit of storing the earbuds in the charging case. This way they stay together, are well protected and are fully charged for subsequent uses. The battery life of the earbuds may be shorter at higher music volumes and lower temperature conditions.
  Choose the right eartips

Multiple sizes/types of eartips are included with the Rolfstone Luna.
Choose the right eartips so that the earbuds fit comfortably, stay in place and completely seal off the ears. This is especially important for the proper functioning of the ANC.

• Three pairs of silicone eartips are supplied in sizes S, M and L. The size M is standard on the earbuds when delivered.
• Also included are three sizes of foam eartips. This type of eartip molds to the ear canal and provides a better fit for many.
• Gently press and twist the earbuds into the ear canal. Shake your head briefly to make sure they stay in place.
• Remove the eartips by twisting it slightly and pulling it off at an angle. Replace the eartips by pushing them firmly over at an angle. Please note that the foam eartips may deform when placing them on the earbuds. After one minute they will have the correct shape again.

Active Noise Canceling (ANC)
ANC electronically suppresses outside noise. For proper operation, it is important to observe the following:

• The earbuds must seal off the ear canal. When the ANC effect is hardly noticable it usually means that the earbuds do not fit properly. We advice to use different eartips (p12).
• ANC does not work well in a windy environment. In this case it is best to turn off the ANC (p4).
• Use the Ambient mode if you want to hear your surroundings. In traffic, for example, this can improve safety.
• ANC works best for suppressing low sustained sounds such as traffic, aircraft engines and air conditioners. In-ear earbuds such as the Rolfstone Luna naturally reduce higher pitched sounds provided they sit correctly in the ears and seal them off completely.

Important
To avoid hearing damage do not expose your ears to high volume levels for long periods of time.
Be aware that when using the earbuds the ambient noise is less noticeable. This can cause dangerous situations. So pay extra attention and don’t put yourself and your environment in danger.
Not suitable for children under the age of six. The Rolfstone Luna contains small parts that can present a choking hazard. Adult supervision is required when the earbuds are  used by children under the age of 8.
Warranty
The Rolfstone Luna earbuds and charging case have a warranty period of one year. Please contact us if you encounter problems within this period that are not a result of improper use or damage due to external influences. This warranty is not transferable. Proof of purchase is required.
