Operation
– The flashlight has three modes of operation: High power, Low power,
Flashing. – Slide the switch forward to activate the high power mode, slide
forward again to move to low power, slide forward again to move to flashing
mode.
Slide a fourth time forward to turn off the light.
– From any mode, move the locking switch upward to lock and secure the
lighting mode. This will prevent accidental setting change.
Battery Installation
– Warning – Replace batteries only in non hazardous areas.
- Unscrew the bezel retaining screw and take off the black cap.
- Remove the cap, remove the LED assembly,
- Insert x4 AA type batteries identical, with the (+) positive and (-) negative marks inside the flashlight, replace LED assembly,
- Then replace the bezel and lock into position by tightening the screw. If the flashlight is not used or stored for a long time, batteries should be removed to avoid battery leaking which may damage the flashlight.
- Always replace all the batteries at the same time.
- Do not mix used batteries with new batteries
- Do not mix batteries from different manufacturers
General Warning
- Do not expose the battery to excessive heat, to do so may cause an explosion.
- Do not use metal objects to short circuit the positive and negative end of the battery.
- Do not dispose of the battery in the domestic waste, please use the correct method of disposal.
- Do not solder directly on to the battery.
- Do not let the battery become wet or immerse the battery in water.
- Keep the battery away from children.
- The operating temperature range of the flashlight’s battery: Charging: 0°C to 45°C / Discharging:
- 20°C to 60°C
- Do not shine the flashlight directly into people’s eyes, as it may damage their eyesight.
- Do not try to repair the unit. In case of any problems or questions please contact NightSearcher Limited or an authorised distributor.
Safe disposal of waste electrical products, batteries
If at any time, you need to dispose of this product or parts of this product: please note that waste electrical products and batteries should not be disposed of with ordinary household waste. Recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authority for recycling advice. Alternatively, NightSearcher is happy to take receipt of this product at end-of-life and will recycle it on your behalf.
GUARANTEE TERMS
All NightSearcher products have a 3-year standard warranty on all
manufacturing defects and 1-year warranty on all rechargeable batteries from
the date of purchase. Extended Warranty: Customers have the option to extend
the warranty of the product to 5 years for manufacturing defects.
Registration of the product must be made within one month of purchase by
sending us an email
