BAM THE BATMOBILE™ TRANSFORMING RC
Keep these instructions for future reference as they contain important information.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Be sure the OFF(O)/ON(I) switch (located on the bottom of the vehicle) is in
the ON(I) position.
HOW TO PLAY
NORMAL SPEED:
- Press and hold one of the direction buttons, Bam the Batmobile™ lights up & “talks” as he rolls along.
- The BAM button will light up with each button press.
TWO WAYS TO SHIFT INTO HIGH SPEED:
- Press the BAM button first, then press and hold one of the direction buttons. Bam the Batmobile™ will go turbo speed for about 10 seconds and then switch to normal speed automatically. The BAM button will blink while Bam the Batmobile™ is in turbo speed.
- Press and hold any direction button. When the vehicle is moving at normal speed, press the BAM button and the vehicle will immediately enter turbo speed for about 10 seconds and then switch to normal speed automatically. The BAM button will blink while Bam the Batmobile™ is in turbo speed.
BATTERY “SLEEP” MODE:
After about three minutes of inactivity, Bam the Batmobile™ will automatically
go to “sleep” and shut-off to preserve the life of the batteries. To begin
play again, press and hold any button on the remote control to “wake” Bam the
Batmobile™ up.
PARENTS’ NOTE:
This toy is for indoor use only. For best performance, use on a hard flat
surface. For best results, make sure the remote control is no further than 15
feet (4.6 meters) away from Bam the Batmobile™ while playing.”

Push the batwings inside manually.
BATTERY INFORMATION
REQUIRES:
Phillips screwdriver (not included).
Two AAA (LR03) batteries (included) for remote control and four AA (LR6)
batteries (included) for vehicle.
Batteries included are for demonstration purposes only. Battery replacement is
required.
Only adults should replace batteries.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
- Locate the battery compartment doors on the bottom of the vehicle and remote control.
- Loosen the screws in the battery compartment doors with a Phillips screwdriver and remove the doors.
- Remove the exhausted batteries and properly dispose.
- Insert two AAA (LR03) alkaline batteries for the remote control and four AA (LR6) alkaline batteries for the vehicle.
- Replace the battery compartment doors and tighten the screws. Do not overtighten.
- When lights or sounds from this toy become faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries.
- If this toy begins to malfunction, first check battery installation. You may need to reset the electronics. Slide the power switch off and back on. If the toy continues to malfunction or no longer operates, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries. For longer life, use alkaline batteries.
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a
chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage:

Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable.

Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment (+ and -).

Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product.
Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak. -
Never short-circuit the battery terminals.

Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.

Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging.

If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.

FAULT DESCRIPTION | SOLUTION |
---|---|
Vehicle drives slowly | The wheels on the vehicle may be dirty. Clean with a |
damp cloth.
Battery power may be low. First change the batteries in the vehicle.
If still slow, change the batteries in the remote control.
Vehicle does not move forward or reverse in a straight line| Locate the knob
on the bottom of the vehicle. Turn the knob slightly to adjust the trim, so
that the vehicle can move forward or reverse in a straight line.
Vehicle is malfunctioning| First, check to make sure the batteries are
installed correctly. You may also need to reset the electronics. To reset,
slide the power switch off and back on.
If the vehicle continues to malfunction or no longer operates, it’s time to
replace the batteries with fresh batteries.
Vehicle does not respond to the remote control| Battery power may be low in
the vehicle or the remote control.
First replace the batteries in the vehicle. If there is still no response,
replace the batteries in the remote control.
The maximum range between the remote control and vehicle is about 15 feet (4.6
meters). Operate the remote control closer to the vehicle.
Remove any obstructions between them.
Try dimming the lights in the room. Bright sunlight or fluorescent lights may
affect the range of the remote control.
