CO2 CALIBRATION

  • The meter is calibrated at standard 400ppm CO2 concentration in the factory. It’s suggested to do manual calibration regularly to maintain good accuracy.
  • First of all, leave the meter in a known 400ppm CO2 condition for some minutes. press “ SET ” & “ + ”keys at the same time till “CAL” appears. Press “ + ” to choose no or yes then Press the “ SET ” key to start the calibration.
  • After 300 seconds count down, the display shows “Pass” on display to indicate the calibration is done.

  • To quit calibration, press “ MUTE” longer time during any moment of the calibration period, except the final 15 seconds.

CAUTION:

  • Do not calibrate the meter in the air with an unknown CO2 level, Otherwise, it will be taken as 400 ppm and leads to inaccurate measurement.
  • The manual calibration is suggested to be done outdoors with good ventilation, fresh air, and sunny days where the CO2 level is around 400 ppm.
  • Do not calibrate on rainy days because high humidity will affect the CO2 level in the air. Do not calibrate in places crowded with people or close to where there exists high CO2 such as ventilating outlets or fireplaces.
    • Must be
    1. Sunny day
    2. Away from any CO2 source
