- Always follow the requirements for safe use (CAP 2)
- The device is only intended for heating, grilling and baking toast, bread, pizza, bruschetta and other food specialties.
- Place the prepared food in the grill tongs. To do this, press the tongs handle so that the tongs open and you can put the bread in. Then slide the closed tongs with their contents onto the grillage in the oven. Instead of the tongs, you can also place the food directly on the grillage. First, fold out the handle of the grillage, then place the food on the grill and push everything into the oven.
- Turn the rotary switch of the timer clockwise to the desired heating duration. For continuous operation, turn the rotary switch of the timer counterclockwise as far as it will go. Then switch on the desired heating element with the respective toggle switch. The lamps of the selected toggle switches light up as soon as the grill is switched on.
- After the set heating time has elapsed, the heating elements are switched off via the expired timer. Now take the tongs or the grillage out of the grill. Always hold the tongs and the grill grate by their handles.
- The optimal cooking time for the various dishes depends on a number of factors, such as quality, freshness, weight, thickness, consistency, composition and temperature of the food as well as individual preferences. The thinner and more heat-sensitive the food, the lower the necessary grilling temperature and cooking time. Choose a slightly longer heating time when the device is still cold;
- As soon as the device is heated up, the heating time can be reduced. Occasionally check the cooking condition of the food during the grilling process.
The following should also be noted:
The best results are achieved with a toast slice and filling at room temperature.
- If you use brown bread instead of white bread, the cooking time should be increased.
- The cooking time should be increased for cold bread.
- The toasting of toast slices and the preparation of panini, piadina and grilled sandwiches make it easier with the grill tongs provided; Of course, sausages and meat, fish or vegetables can be grilled just as well, and the device can also be used excellently for baking pizza and Italian bread specialties or for warming up and keeping food warm. It can even be used as a “salamander” for gratinating, browning and caramelizing dishes.
Warning : this toaster can make the food very hot. Be careful. Turn and remove the grilled food carefully, preferably with grill utensils or a pan lifter, as the grilled food gets very hot.
