DEVICE CONNECTION, USAGE AND OPERATION

Contact Grill for commercial use only
The GLASS CERAMIC contact grill is an appliance with a fixed and mobile glass ceramic heating surfaces for cooking food by infrared and contact heating. The food is placed on the fixed heating surface from where it can also be placed in contact with the mobile heating surface to increase or improve the heating.
Any food can be heated or cooked with this appliance: toast, stuffed sandwiches, meat, fish, vegetables, cheese, etc.
Any other use is to be considered improper and therefore dangerous.
The GLASS CERAMIC PLATES are suitable for contact with food and are easy to clean.

OPERATION
The contact grill functions automatically through the adjustable thermostat with knob (1). The temperature is kept steady at the set value once the steady state condition is reached.
Insert the power plug into the socket. Place the switch (2) in the ON position.
Adjust the temperature by turning the thermostat knob (1) clockwise (higher temperature) or counterclockwise (lower temperature).
The switching on of the orange light of the switch indicates that the GLASS CERAMIC PLATE is heating up. This condition means that the switch (2) is in the ON position and the thermostat knob is in a position other than 0. If the switch (2) is in the OFF position, the GLASS CERAMIC PLATE will not work.
Disconnect the power plug after use.
In 1706x models, equipped with 2 switches, the right side of the machine is controlled by the right switch and thermostat, and similarly the left side is controlled by the left switch and thermostat.

RECOMANDATIONS FOR USE

Always follow the requirements for safe use (Chap. 2)
The best results are obtained with heating surfaces used several times. The optimal cooking time depends on different factors, such as quality, freshness, weight, thickness, consistency, and temperature of the food as well as individual preferences. The thinner and more sensitive to heat is the food, the lower the grill temperature and the cooking time required.
It is advisable to establish the ideal cooking time for your needs through subsequent tests.
Food cooked with this GLASS CERAMIC PLATE can be very hot.
Handle it with care.

CLEANING

  • Before cleaning the device, pull out the plug and allow it to cool down to a room temperature.
  • Empty the grease tray after each use, (3).
  • Clean the still slightly warm heating surface every day with a damp cloth and food and fat residues both from the cooking zone and in the areas close to and below the GLASS CERAMIC PLATE.
  • The use of the scraper on the surface of the glass ceramic hob is allowed.
  • The use of brushes, other tools, abrasive products, sponges and scouring pads that scratch is NOT advised.
  • The use of aggressive detergents (oven sprays) and stain removal products is NOT allowed.
  • Aluminum foil, plastic objects, synthetic materials, sugar-based substances or substances with a high sugar content that have accidentally liquefied on the glass ceramic hob must be removed immediately.
