SERCOMM xChime XHV1 Plug-In Wireless Speaker Device
Introduction
Chime is a plug-in wireless speaker device that directly plugs into standard 120V AC wall outlet and provides audible alerts anywhere in your home when an event of interest happens via a compatible smart home device

Physical Details

Reset Pin Hole
- To restore the device to the original factory settings:
- Power On
- Gently press and hold for over 5 sec then release torestore the device to factory settings.

Pairing Button
- Push the pairing button on the device easily creates an encryption-secured wireless connection automatically.

POWER indicator (Blue/White)
(Note: May change in future)- Solid White – The xChime is booting up.
- Blinking White – The xChime is ready to pair or pairing.
- Solid Blue – The xChime is connected to WiFi, working normally.
- Solid Amber – The xChime is not connected to a router or has trouble connecting.
Basic Setup
This Chapter provides information on how to install the xChime.
Installation
You must complete the following installation procedure when using the device
Step
- Plug in the xChime to the power outlet
- Download the Xfinity app from Google Play or App Store
- Sign into the app with your Xfinity Credentials
- Select “Security” tab
- Select Add a Device then choose Xfinity xChime to start setting up
- Follow the instructions in the app to finish setup of the device and you can use the same device functions in the same app after setup the device
WARNING
- This is indoor use only.
- Do not place the chime unit near a heat source, such as near a radiator or baseboard heater.

Federal Communication Commission Interference Statement

IMPORTANT NOTE
Radiation Exposure Statement:
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an
uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with
minimum distance 20cm between the radiator & your body. This transmitter must
not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or
transmitter. Operations in the 5.15-5.25GHz band are restricted to indoor
usage only.

- where applicable, antenna type(s), antenna models(s), and worst-case tilt angle(s) necessary to remain compliant with the e.i.r.p. elevation mask requirement set forth in section 6.2.2.3 shall be clearly indicated.
