Systemair SR20 Oversized Oil Pan
Product Information: Drain Pan
The Drain Pan is an essential accessory for the Topvex SR. It isused to collect any condensation water that may occur when the water coil in the Topvex SR is used as a cooler with cold water. The drain pan comes with rivets to attach it to the unit and protective stickers for rivet and grommet holes.
Installation Instructions
Warning: Before performing any maintenance or electrical work, disconnect the main power supply to the unit.
Step 1: Remove Supply Air Fan
For all Topvex SR sizes, remove the supply air fan for easy access. Disconnect the fast coupling to the electric wire. Disconnect the blue and red tubes from the supply air fan (standard units with CAV). The blue tube is connected to the cone (1) of thefan, and the red tube is connected to the measuring nipple on the wall or on the sheet metal on the suction side. Loosen the two bolts on the rail to remove the fan.
Step 2: Remove Coil Plate and Bracket
For SR20, 25, 60, 80, and 100 and SR35, 70 units, use a drill to remove the inner coil plate and bottom coil bracket. Attach protective stickers over the holes. The upper coil bracket remains in place.
Step 3: Place Drain Pan and Water Coil
Remove the bottom grommet (1) from the water coil and place a protective sticker over the hole. Place the water coil in the drain pan. Place the inner coil plate with the coil in the drain pan. The water coil is placed in the drain pan to ensure placement with the upper coil bracket. Mark the drill holes using the drain pan as a template.
Step 4: Drill Holes and Attach Drain Pan and Inner Plate
Remove the drain pan and water coil. Drill 4.2 mm holes. Place the water coil in the drain pan and push it into the air handling unit. Fasten the inner plate with rivets to the upper coil bracket. Fasten the drain pan with rivets. Put the fan in place and connect the electric wire and tubes. For connection to drains, follow the local demands.

Warning
- Beware of sharp edges. Use gloves and protective clothing.
- Be aware of rotating parts even if the mains power supply is disconnected.
For all Topvex SR sizes

- Loosen the two bolts on the rail to remove the fan.

Use a drill to remove the bottom coil bracket. Attach protective stickers over the holes. The upper coil bracket remains in place.
Remove the bottom grommet (1) from the water coil and place a protective sticker over the hole. Place the water coil in the drain pan.
The water coil is placed in the drain pan to ensure the placement with the upper coil bracket. Mark the drill holes using the drain pan as a template.
Remove the drain pan and water coil. Drill 4,2 mm holes.
Place the water coil in the drain pan and push it in to the air handling unit.
SR20, 25, 60, 80, 100 Fasten the inner plate with rivets to the
upper coil bracket.
Fasten the drain pan with rivets. Put the fan in place and connect the
electric wire and tubes.
For connection to drains, follow the local demands.
