GP2 ECO Glass Grill
Product Information: Glasgrill GP2 ECO
The Glas grill GP2 ECO is a modern and energy-efficient cooking appliance that uses novel heating technology to heat up the grill within 5 minutes at only 800W. It offers up to 30% energy savings compared to conventional heating systems. The appliance features a cut-resisting hardened glass surface and is designed for private use only and must not be used commercially.
Product Usage Instructions
- General Safety Precautions:

- Use the provided cable for connection.
- Never allow the appliance to be used by children or individuals without the necessary experience and knowledge.
- Children should always be supervised to ensure that they do not come into contact with the appliance.
- Unplug the appliance after each use or in case of malfunction.
- Do not touch hot surfaces, and do not clamp hot surfaces together.
- Preparation for Grilling:

Generally
This appliance is for private use only and must not be used commercially. Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it at a safe place. When the appliance is given to another person the instruction manual should be passed to that person, too. Only use the appliance as described in the instruction manual and pay attention to the safety information. No liability for damages or accidents will be accepted, which are caused by not paying attention to the instruction manual.
Safety information
- Connect and operate the appliance only in accordance with the the rating plate.
- Do not use if the cord or appliance is damaged. Always check before using the appliance! Only the appropriate connector must be used.
- The appliance is to be connected to a socket-outlet having an earthing contact.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance or packaging material (e.g. Plastic Bags).
- After using the appliance or if the appliance malfunctions, always pull out the plug.
- Never pull at the cord set. Do not chafe it over edges or squeeze it.
- Keep the power supply cord away from hot parts.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when operating.
- Do not put anything on the appliance.
- Do not leave the appliance outdoors or in a damp area.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged (for example if it felt down).
- The manufacturer is not liable for damage occurred by using the appliance in another way than described or if a mistake in operating has been made
- The appliance becomes very hot. Do not move the appliance until it has cooled down!
- To prevent injury, repairs such as replacing a damaged cord, should only be carried out by customer service.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote control system.
Attention! Housing and glass get hot. Danger of burns!
Do not place the appliance on a sensitive surface (e.g. painted furniture) and
keep a distance of at least 70cm to burnable materials.
The backside of the appliance must be positioned direct at the kitchen wall.
Working place
Important: Never place this device on or next to hot surfaces (e.g. hot
stoves). Only use it on a even, stable and a heat resisting surface. It is
important that no inflamable items are near to the device.
Handle the grill area with care. Do not use when any crack is visible.
Safety requirements during usage
- Only use the appliance at a safety plug socket. This should be connected leakage circuit breaker
- The appliance must be supplied through a residual current device(RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA.
- Never immerse the appliance into water.
- Never leave the appliance outdoors after usage.
- Fat and other grill food can spatter and drop. Therefore do not place the appliance not directly on sensitive surfaces, e.g. Polished table tops, parquet or carpet.
- Be sure that the cable is placed that way that it cannot be pulled or touched during usage.
- Always unplug the appliance and cool it down before the device is carried away. Never carry it when it is hot.
- Unplug the appliance after each usage or before cleaning.
Grill preparations
Oil the grill slightly before the usage. This makes it more easy to turn the
food. Then heat up the device for ca 5 min; the thermostat on maximum level.
The food should be not frozen during grilling. Please use the appliance only
with the drip tray.
Never cover the appliance with aluminium foil, because the heat cannot get
away from the heating element.
To avoid smoking and burning in of excessive fat or food residues, the grill
plate should be wiped off repeatedly.
As the grill plate can be very hot, use ca 3-4pcs of scrunched paper towels
and wipe off the grill area with a grill tong.
Power
After the unit is plugged in and the switch at the side of the control unit is
pressed. Press the button and in the display appears C0.
Press another time the button and C5 will appear in the display, the appliance
starts heating.
To change the Power press first the Power button , in the display C5 is
flashing. Now there is ca 5sec time to change the temperature or the display
will return to C5.
By pressing the / buttons the heating power can be changed.
C5: 250°C Grilling on highest power
C4: 210°C Grilling on middle power (e.g. fir tender meat)
C3: 150°C Grilling on low power (e.g. fish or vegetable)
C2: 120°C low temperature
C1: 80°C keeping warm for dishes
If there is not any pressing of the / buttons within 5 sec, then the power
button must be pressed again to change it the power level.
Timer
Press the Timer button , in the display „00“ is flashing. Now there is ca 5sec
time to change the Time or the display will return to the adjusted power
level.
By pressing the button the time can be changed.
- Button pressed only short time: 1 Minute steps
- Button pressed longer time: 10Minute steps
- Max adjustable time 99 minutes
When the LED in the display is flashing, the timer is working.
In the display you can see the Time and the adjusted Power changing. After the
time run out the appliance will switch off and a beeping sound can be heard.
Residual heat
After a certain temperature is reached the residual heat light will be switched on. The residual heat light will flash after the unit is turned off until the plate cooled down. Notice: The appliance is equipped with a cooling fan. Never unplug the appliance immediately after the unit is switched off. Please wait until the residual heat light turned off. With this damage of the electronic can be avoided.
Cleaning and maintainance:
- The device should be cleaned after each use
- Unplug the device
- The device should cool down a little. It can be cleaned easier when it is not that hot.
- Never immerse the device in water!
- Use a humid cloth with a little bit of detergent to clean it.
- Burned in residues can be sprayed with an oven cleaner and should stay on the top for at least 1h. The solved residues can then be wiped away with a damp cloth.
Disposal
Packaging disposal:
Do not throw away the package materials. Please put it in the recycling bin.
Gift box: Paper, should be put to the old paper collection point. Plastic packaging material and foils should be collected in the special collection containers.
Correct Disposal of this product
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other
household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the
environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it
responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return
your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the
retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for
environmental safe recycling.
