Instruction Manual
Safety Interlocks
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and save them for future reference. Please keep the sales receipt for guarantee purposes (pls see below “Guarantee and Customer Service”)

Before connecting the appliance, check if the voltage indicated on the appliance, corresponds with the mains voltage in your home.

Never leave the appliance unattended when in operation.

Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children. Ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

This appliance is not intended for use by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, children or those with lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Disconnect the power cord from the supply mains:
− Immediately after use
− When you do not use the appliance
− Before cleaning and maintenance operations -
Never use the appliance for any other use than indicated.

The device is intended for indoor use. Do not use the device outdoors.

The device is intended only for domestic use. Any other use will cancel the warranty.
-
The appliance must have sufficient air flow. Keep at least 5cm around the hob.

Do not block air inlets and outlets.
-
Do not place metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans and foil on or under the hob.
-
Make sure that the body and the hob have cooled completely before cleaning.
-
Do not touch hot parts of the appliance.
-
Do not use an extension power cord or power striper.
-
This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

Never use the cord to pull the plug out of the socket. Disconnect always by pulling on the plug.

Check the power cord periodically for possible damages. If the power cord or the plug of the appliance has been damaged, do not use the appliance and contact an authorized BENRUBI Service Center.

Make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.

Always use the appliance on a dry, flat surface, resistant to high temperatures. Particular attention is required on surfaces where the temperature can cause problems. In these cases, it is recommended to use additional heat-resistant surface.

Do not place the appliance on a metal surface.
-
Do not operate or place the device or parts in places of high humidity or where it may get wet. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
-
Do not place the appliance near heat sources, on or next gas or electric hobs or over hot oven.
-
Avoid exposing the hob to strong electromagnetic fields such as laptops, computers, microwave ovens, etc. as they may affect the operation of the appliance.
-
To prevent fire, do not use the appliance near flammable materials such as curtains, fabrics, charcoal etc.
-
Do not place paper, cardboard, plastic and the like on the hob.
-
Do not let the power cord of the appliance hang over the edge of a table or bench top or where a child could grab it. Do not let the power cord to touch any hot surface.

Never leave the power cable wrapped during use. Unwind it completely.
CAUTION: The plate gets very hot during use. Handle the appliance very carefully during and after use. -
Never use highly corrosive or abstractive cleaning agents. Never use metal scouring pads for cleaning.

Do not move the appliance when it is in operation.
-
Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
-
If the appliance does get wet, immediately remove the power cord from the wall outlet and contact one of the authorized BENRUBI service centers.

In case of a possible damage, do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself. Please contact one of the authorized BENRUBI service centers. Any repair made by a non-unauthorized BENRUBI Service Center CANCELS THE GUARANTEE.
WARNING: If the surface cracks, switch off the appliance to avoid the risk of electric shock. -
Any misuse of the device cancels the warranty.

The appliance conforms to EU directive 2014/30/EU on Electromagnetic Compatibility, the 2014/35/EU Low Voltage Directive, the 2011/65/EU RoHS Directive, the directive 2009/125/ EC for eco-design.

Cookware for Induction Hob
- Use only cookware whose base is suitable for induction hob. Look for the following symbol on the packaging or at the bottom of the cookware.
Unsuitable cookware:
- Cookware made of pure steel, aluminum or copper, glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic and clay.
- Cookware with sharp or curved base.
Notes:
- Make sure the base of the cookware is smooth and the same size as the hob. Always center the cookware on the hob. The diameter of the cookware should not be less than 12 cm and greater than 26 cm.
Using the Induction Hob

Place the device on a stable, dry, heat-resistant and flat surface.

Plug in. A beep will sound and “C” will appear on the screen (5).

Press the power button (3). “ON” will appear on the screen (5). The appliance is in standby mode.
Note: The device remains in standby mode for 30 seconds unless you select a function. -
Place the cookware on the hob (1).

Press the temperature/power mode button (4).
The hob is provided with 10 temperature levels: Temperature (℃)| 60| 80| 100| 120| 140| 160| 180| 200| 220| 240

The hob is provided 10 power levels:

Select the desired temperature or power by turning the knob counterclockwise (MIN) or clockwise (MAX). Temperatures or power will be displayed on the screen (5).

The appliance will start working.

When you have finished cooking, press the power button (3). “C” will appear on the screen (5).
Note: If the hob temperature is higher than 60º C, “H” will appear on the screen. Do not touch to prevent burns. -
Allow the hob to cool for 15 seconds and unplug it.
Notes:
- Do not place empty cookware on the hob and do not overheat the cookware.
- “E0” will appear on the screen (5) if you remove the cookware during operation or if the cookware used is unsuitable for induction hob.
Button Lock
- You can lock the hob buttons by pressing the lock button (8) for 3 seconds. An audible alarm sounds and the lock indicator light turns on. All the buttons and the temperature knob (7) are deactivated.
Note: During button lock the power button “ON/OFF” (3) is activated.
- To unlock the buttons, press the lock button (8) again for 3 seconds.
Timer Function
- The timer is available for manual operation and not for automatic. The timer range is from 1 minute to 4 hours.
- Press the timer button (9). The indicator light will turn on and the preset time “0:10” will flash on the screen.
- Turn the time selection knob (7) counterclockwise to “MIN” to adjust the minutes and clockwise to “MAX” to adjust the hour.
- The time you have selected will flash for 5 seconds and then it will stabilize, and the countdown will start.
- When the selected time is completed, the appliance switches off and enters to standby mode. “C” will appear on the screen (5).
Notes:
- To cancel the timer function, press the timer button for 3 seconds.
- To change the operating time, press the timer button once. The time you have selected will flash on the screen. Turn the time selection knob to the new setting.
Care and Cleaning
Do not leave any food or drippings remains on the plate after cooking.
- Before cleaning the appliance, ensure that it is disconnected from the outlet and let the body and the plate of your appliance to cool down completely.
- NEVER immerse the appliance and the electric cord into water or any other liquid.
- NEVER use chemicals and abrasive detergents.
- NEVER use metal brushes or other objects that may scratch the surfaces.
- Keep the appliance and the plate clean using a damp soft cloth.
- Make sure the parts of the device that you clean both are completely dry before reuse or before storage.
Storage
- Make sure the appliance has cooled down completely and cleaned before storage.
- Never leave the appliance outdoors and exposed to rain.
- Store in a place without humidity, where it is not reachable by children.

constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy
and resources.
As a reminder of the need to dispose of household appliances separately, the
product is marked with a crossed-out wheeled dustbin.

- BENRUBI Company guarantees its products for any manufacturing defect or defective materials for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase or delivery by presenting purchase receipt. If your product malfunctions or you find any defects, please revert to the retail location you have purchased it from or contact an authorized BENRUBI Service Centre. To find the nearest authorized BENRUBI Service Centre, visit our website www.benrubi.gr. It is in the discretion of BENRUBI Company to replace or repair the defective product.
- The warranty does not cover damages resulting from normal wear, breakage, scaling, improper installation or maintenance of the product, mishandling, abnormal working conditions, failure to implement the instructions, conversion or repair of the product by an unauthorized technician who does not belong to the BENRUBI Service Centers.
Also, the warranty does not cover the following indicative factors:
- Stains, discoloration or scratches.
- Burns due to exposure to heat or flame.
- Damage from thermal shock (sudden temperature change or change of voltage).
