APP Deprime Kit 2
The APP Deprime Kit 2 is a product designed for removing spent primers from
fired cases. The kit includes a shell holder blank, bottle adapter, lock ring,
clear bottle, upper casting, depriming pin, spring, and primer body. The kit
is compatible with most handgun cases and can be used with optional case
collator and case feed magazine.
Product Usage Instructions
- Attach the bottle adapter to the shell holder adapter using thesupplied lock ring.
- Install the shell holder blank into the shell holderadapter.
- Attach the clear bottle to the adapter to catch spent primers.
- Install the APP Deprime Kit 2 into the APP base casting as shown.
- Install the guide and ejector into the upper casting.
- Insert the depriming pin into the spring and insert it.
- While holding the depriming pin and spring, slide the primer body into the upper casting.
- The APP Deprime Kit 2 is now ready to use for depriming.
Note: The clear bottle or an empty powder container can be used to catch spent primers. Also, please be aware that most primers contain lead. Therefore, it is important to treat the dirt, dust, and spent primers that accumulate in the catch bottle as hazardous and dispose of them properly.
Optional Accessories
- Case Collator (Product # 90667): Works with most handgun cases and fills tube magazine in as little as 10 seconds.
- Case Feed Magazine (Product # 90242): Feeds cases shorter than 2 1/2 inches.
INSTALLATION
- Attach bottle adapter to shell holder adapter using supplied lock ring.
- Install shell holder blank into shell holder adapter. Attach clear bottle to adapter to catch spent primers.
- Install into APP base casting as shown. The clear bottle or an empty powder container can be used to catch spent primers.
- A Install guide & ejector into upper casting.
- B Insert the depriming pin into the spring and insert.
- C While holding depriming pin and spring, slide primer body into upper casting.
- You’re ready to deprime.
WARNING: most primers contain lead. Treat the dirt, dust and spent primers that accumulate in the catch bottle as hazardous and dispose of properly.
