SURGE Water Beads and Gel Ball Blasters

STEP 1 – HYDRATE YOUR GELLETSTM !! IMPORTANT !!
Gullets must be submerged in water for at least two hours to fully expand to size. They also need to have plenty of water to absorb (this is very important) – you’ll know there was plenty of water if after 2 hours the Gellets are still submerged in the water. Failing to completely hydrate Gullets will cause your Gel Blaster’ to seem crappy.
Note: Make sure that the Gellets are prepared in an adequate sized container. Store hydrated Gullets away from the elements and direct sunlight.
STEP 2 – CHARGE YOUR BLASTER
Use the provided USB-C cord to charge your blaster. Do not place your charging blaster on any fabric surface during charging. Do not leave blaster charging for an extended period of time, unplug it when the indicator light turns green.
STEP 3 – FILL YOUR HOPPER
Fill your hopper with hydrated Gellets, make sure all water is drained from the hopper before installing on your blaster.
STEP 4 – INSTALL HOPPER ONTO BLASTER
Screw the hopper into the SURGE feedneck. Then slide the feedneck onto the top rail of the SURGE with the arrow pointing forward.
IMPORTANT – Make sure you slide the feedneck all the way forward until you feel and hear a “click”. Failing to do so will cause your Gel Blaster SURGE to misfire.
STEP 5 – OPTIONAL: INTERCHANGEABLE BARRELS
Your Gel Blaster currently comes with the Standard Barrel pre-installed (175fps). To remove the barrel, use the Barrel Tool provided to unscrew the barrel. You can then install your orange Reduced Velocity Barrel (100fps) for a lighter blasting experience.
IMPORTANT – DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN YOUR BARREL!
STEP 6 – PROTECT YOUR EYES!
Put on your provided eye protection when using your Gel Blaster SURGE. Make sure that others within firing distance are wearing eye protection too! Do not shoot at people not wearing proper eye-wear.
STEP 7 – POWER ON AND HAVE A BLAST!
Switch between Single and Full-Auto with the Blaster Mode Switch.

WARNING:
Do not aim at eyes or face during play. Eyewear required for players and any person within range. Do not modify blaster or gullets as it may lead to misuse or injury. Use only with Gel Blaster Official Products. Read all instructions before use. For Ages 14 and up

WARNING: The Gel Blaster is not intended to get wet. Don’t submerge your Gel Blaster in water, and make sure your Gellets are fully strained of excess water. This will protect the battery and circuitry within from failure or potential overheating.

FAQ & QUICK FIXES

My hopper & feed neck keep sliding off and won’t feed the Gullets into my Gel Blaster’?

– A. Please make sure your hopper is facing the right direction -the front arrow (on your feed neck) should be facing toward your fins. If installed correctly, the hopper and feed neck will dick & lock in place.
Q My Gullets aren’t shooting correctly and are rolling out of my Gel Blaster’s barrel?
– A: This is caused by Gullets that aren’t full size. To make sure your Gullets are fully hydrated, please allow your Gullets to be submerged in water for a minimum of 2hrs before playing.
Q: My Gel Blaster® seems jammed?
– A: Your Gel Blaster® will rarely get jammed, but if this is the case, please make sure to turn the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. Now proceed to check the tip and barrel of the Gel Blaster. If debris Is found in your Gel Blaster, remove your hopper & feed neck and spray canned air directly into the barrel forcing the debris to come out of the tip of the blaster. If the debris is still stuck, use a pipe cleaner to force the remainder out of the tip of the blaster. Never push the debris from the tip/front of the Gel Blaster towards the back, that will only jam your Gel Blaster worse.
