GEL BLASTER StarFire XL Glow In The Dark Gellet Blaster

StarfireTM Glow in the Dark Gellets
StarfireTM Glow in the Dark Gellets is specially formulated and behaves differently. These Gellets, when fully hydrated, may shrink and lose their ability to glow within a few days, so only hydrate what you plan on using!

Product Information

• Gellets have a glow-in-the-dark feature
• Gellets will expand 10 times their original size when hydrated
• Store hydrated Gellets away from the elements and direct sunlight
• Blaster comes pre-set at 250fps and can be adjusted to as low as 170fps
• Comes with eye protection and requires 2-AAA batteries (not included)

Product Usage Instructions

1. Soak for 4+ hours:

   • Pour one 5k Gellet pack (included) into a one-gallon+ container (preferably with a lid)
   • Add half a gallon of water and wait for at least 4hrs
   • Fill your hopper and start blasting!

2. Charge your blaster:

   • The Charging LED light will show solid red when charging, when fully charged, the light will turn green.
   • While in use, the light will flash red to indicate a low battery.

3. Put AAA batteries in your activator:

   • Remove the Activator feedback by pulling it towards the back of your blaster.
   • Locate the green door to the battery compartment. Pull from the bottom to swing the door up unlocking the Door Clasp.
   • Insert 2-AAA batteries (not included) and close the door until the Clasp clicks.

4. Fill your hopper:

   • Add hydrated Gellets to your ammo container until all Gellets
     are submerged

   • Seal the container with a lid

   • Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight

5. Install hopper onto blaster:

   • Screw the full hopper into the Starfire feedback, then slide the feedback onto the top rail of the Starfire XL with the arrow pointing forward.
   • Make sure you slide the feedback all the way forward until you feel and hear a click. Failing to do so will cause your Starfire XL to misfire.

6. Optional: Adjust velocity:

   • Your Gel Blaster comes pre-set at 250fps.
   • To reduce the velocity, first, remove the butt stock by pressing the green button below it and sliding the butt stock down and off.
   • Use the Barrel Tool provided by pressing it onto the green adjustment knob.
   • Turn it counter-clockwise to bring your blaster down to as low as 170fps.
   • DO NOT OVER TORQUE THE ADJUSTMENT KNOB!

7. Protect your eyes:

   • Put on your provided eye protection when using your Gel Blaster SURGE.
   • Make sure that others within firing distance are wearing eye protection too! Do not shoot at people not wearing proper eyewear.

8. Switch between Single and Full-Auto with the Blaster Mode Switch:

Q: My blaster is misfiring, what should I do?
A: Please make sure your hopper is facing the right direction – the front arrow (on your feedback) should be facing toward your fins. If installed correctly, the hopper and feedback will click & lock in place.

Installation

• STEP 1 – HYDRATE YOUR STARFIRE GELLETS® !! IMPORTANT !!
  Starfire Glow in the Dark Gellets® must be submerged in water for at least four hours to fully expand to size. They also need to have plenty of water to absorb (this is very important) – you’ll know there was plenty of water if after four hours the Gellets are still submerged in water. Failing to completely hydrate Gellets will cause your Gel Blaster® to seem crappy.
  Starfire™ Glow in the Dark Gellets are specially formulated and behave differently. These Gellets, when fully hydrated, may shrink and lose their ability to glow within a few days, so only hydrate what you plan on using!
  Note: Make sure that the Gellets are prepared in an adequate-sized container. Gellets will expand 10 times their original size. Store hydrated Gellets away from the elements and direct sunlight.

• STEP 2 – CHARGE YOUR BLASTER
  The Charging LED light will show solid red when charging, when fully charged, the light will turn green. While in use, the light will flash red to indicate a low battery.

• STEP 3 – PUT AAA BATTERIES IN YOUR ACTIVATOR
  To install batteries, remove the Activator feedback by pulling it toward the back of your blaster. Once removed, locate the green door to the battery compartment. Pull from the bottom to swing the door up unlocking the Door Clasp. Insert 2-AAA batteries (not included) and close the door until the Clasp clicks.

• STEP 4 – FILL YOUR HOPPER
  Fill your hopper with hydrated Gellets – make sure all water is drained from the hopper before installing it on your blaster.

• STEP 5 – INSTALL HOPPER ONTO BLASTER
  Screw the full hopper into the Starfire feedback, then slide the feedback onto the top rail of the Starfire XL with the arrow pointing forward.
  IMPORTANT – Make sure you slide the feedback all the way forward until you feel and hear a “click”. Failing to do so will cause your Starfire XL to misfire.

• STEP 6 – OPTIONAL: ADJUST VELOCTY
  Your Gel Blaster comes pre-set at 250fps. To reduce the velocity, first remove the butt stock by pressing the green button below it and sliding the butt stock down and off. 1. Pour one 5k Gellet pack (included) into a one gallon+ container (preferably with a lid)
2. Add half a gallon of water and wait for at least 4hrs
3. Strain your full-size Gellets® of excess water
4. Fill your hopper and start blasting!

HOW TO STORE YOUR GELLETS

Keep hydrated Gellets® ready for use whenever you want! Here’s how to properly store hydrated Gellets.

1. Add water to your ammo container until all Gellets are submerged
2. Seal the container with a lid
3. Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight

FAQ & QUICK FIXES

Q: My hopper & feedback keep sliding off and won’t feed the Gellets into my Gel Blaster.
A: Please make sure your hopper is facing the right direction – the front arrow (on your feedback) should be facing toward your fins. If installed correctly, the hopper and feedback will click & lock in place.

Q: My Gellets aren’t shooting correctly and are rolling out of my Gel Blaster’s barrel.
A: This is caused by Gellets that aren’t full-size. To make sure your Gellets are fully hydrated, please allow your Gellets to be submerged in water for a minimum of 4 hrs before playing.

Q: My Gel Blaster® seems jammed.
A: Your Gel Blaster® will rarely get jammed, but if this is the case, please make sure to turn the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. Now proceed to check the tip and barrel of the Gel Blaster. If debris is found in your Gel Blaster, remove your hopper & feedback and spray canned air directly into the barrel forcing the debris to come out of the tip of the blaster. If the debris is still stuck, use a pipe cleaner to force the remainder out of the tip of the blaster. Never push the debris from the tip/front of the Gel Blaster toward the back, that will only jam your Gel Blaster worse.

WARNING:

• Do not change the coloration and markings to make it look more like a firearm. That is dangerous and may be a crime. Buyers and users have the duty to obey all laws about the use and ownership of this toy. Adult supervision is required. Misuse or careless use may cause serious injury, especially to the eye.
• Eye protection must be used by the user and any person within range. May be dangerous up to 100 feet. Read the owner’s manual before using it. Recommended for ages 14 and up.

LIMITED WARRANTY

LIMITED WARRANTY, SUBROGATION WAIVER, WAIVER AND RELEASE, BINDING AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATE, CLASS ACTION WAIVER
Gel Blaster, LLC warrants this Gel Blaster® for a period of one month from the date of consumer purchase to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Gel Blaster, LLC’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the purchased product only (although Gel Blaster, LLC may determine to issue a refund, in its sole and exclusive discretion), and under no circumstances shall Gel Blaster, LLC be liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost of repair, consequential damages, incidental damages, or punitive, treble, or exemplary damages of any kind in connection with the sale, use, failure, or repair of any product purchased from Gel Blaster, LLC, even if such damages are caused by the negligence of the released party, whether sole or in combination with others. You hereby waive any claim by an insurance carrier or other person or entity by way of subrogation, and you hereby assign any and all such subrogation claims to Gel Blaster, LLC.

Gel Blaster, LLC disclaims any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose and any implied warranty of merchantability. All implied warranties are hereby disclaimed, and you agree that the only warranty provided by Gel Blaster, LLC to you is the above. Gel Blaster, LLC’s liability for any and all claims arising out of or connected with Gel Blaster® shall be limited to the amount paid by the consumer for the product plus the sum of $100.00.

You and Gel Blaster, LLC agree to mandatory, binding arbitration for any and all claims or causes of action between the parties arising out of or in connection with your purchase or use of the Gel Blaster®, its accessories, or otherwise with respect to any claims between you and Gel Blaster, LLC. The arbitration shall take place under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator. The Arbitration shall take place in Dallas, Texas. You understand and agree that you are waiving your rights to a trial by jury. You agree that any claim you have or may ever come to have against Gel Blaster, LLC must be submitted on an individual basis, and you hereby waive the right to assert such claim collectively, such as in a class or mass action. As a condition precedent to filing the arbitration, you must contact Gel Blaster, LLC with any claim or dispute, which must be mediated before a mutually agreeable mediator in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.

You agree to the foregoing terms when you first charge or otherwise seek to use your Gel Blaster® or its accessories.

The Gel Blaster® STARFIRE XL provides hours of playtime per charge using a powerful lithium polymer battery! But with that power comes the responsibility to take care of your battery. Abuse, neglect, or misuse can ruin your battery, shorten your playtime, or even cause a fire. If your blaster won’t take a charge, cease use and charging! Contact [email protected].
