LINAK Bluetooth Adapter for Bed
Product Information
The product is a bed control system that allows users to operate the backrest and leg rest of their bed. The system comes with an adapter that needs to be paired with the user’s smartphone or tablet using Bluetooth technology. Users can download the Bed Control or Bed Control Memory app from the App Store or Google Play Store to control their bed.
Compatibility
The Bed Control app is compatible with Android devices, and the Bed Control
Memory app is compatible with Android and iOS devices.
The system is made for iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad, and has been certified by
the developer to meet Apple performance standards.
Please note that the use of this accessory with iPod touch, iPhone or iPad may
affect wireless performance.
Pairing and Operating the Bed
To pair the adapter with the user’s smartphone or tablet, they need to follow these steps:
- Put the adapter in pairing mode by pressing and holding the button until the blue LED light starts flashing.
- Download the Bed Control or Bed Control Memory app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the app and select the connected bed from the list or scan to find new devices.
Users can operate the bed by selecting which part to operate – backrest or leg rest – using the app. They can move the selected part up or down using the up and down buttons. The system also allows users to store up to 4 positions that can be directly accessed by pressing the corresponding button. Users can also turn on or off the under bed light using the light buttons if they have purchased the light box as an accessory.
Renaming and Switching Beds
The paired application can be renamed in the Android app on the settings
screen. The iOS version does not support renaming the device, so the new name
will only be saved in the app. To switch to another connected bed, users need
to press the Bluetooth icon in the top right corner of the screen and select a
connected bed from the list or scan to find new devices.

The Adopter
The Bluetooth® Adapter allows you to adjust your LINAK product wirelessly
from an app or Bluetooth® hand control. Simply plug the Bluetooth® Adapter in
your HOMELINE® control box or HOMELINE product and download the app: Your
application can now be adjusted via your smartphone or tablet. The Bluetooth®
Adapter is a very compact unit requiring a minimum of space. No mounting is
needed, just plug in the adapter and you are ready.

Connect the Bluetooth® Adapter to the CBH Advanced or the TD3 simply by
plugging it in. The Bluetooth® Adapter is a very compact unit requiring a

How to download the App for Android

Please use your Android device to log into Google Play Store. -

Type “Bed Control” in the search column. -
Step 3:
Select the “Bed Control” app best suited for your product. If your product supports memory positions, select the “Bed Control Memory” app. -
Step 4:
Click install to download the app to your device.

How to put the adapter in pairing mode
Plug the Bluetooth Adapter into a powered HOMELINE® control box or a TD3.
The pairing mode will last 3 minutes and is indicated with a blue flashing LED
light that is visible through the transparent plastic. (It can take up to 10
seconds before pairing mode starts).
Download the software you want in App Store or Google Play store and follow
the instructions in the programs.
Pairing Bluetooth
When the Bluetooth® Adapter is plugged into a powered TD3 or CBH Advanced, it
will be in pairing mode for 3 minutes. A blue blinking LED will indicate this.
You pair your device to the Bluetooth® Adapter in the app. Enable Bluetooth on
your smartphone or tablet. Open the Bed Control app or Bed Control Memory app
and a “search bed” page will be available.
When searching; All devices will be called BLE2LIN followed by a 4-digit
number.
A list of Bluetooth Adapters and previously connected Bluetooth Adapters will
appear, tap the adapter you want to connect to. Your device is now paired to
the adapter and the app will display the operation page.
The Bluetooth Adapter automatically reestablish the connection to the paired
devices once they are within range and turned on.
The only difference between Bed Control and Bed Control Memory is that there
is no memory positions displayed in Bed Control.
Button
Select back or leg
Select which part to operate back or leg. Backrest (A) and leg rest (B)
UP (C)
Moves the selected part up
Down (D)
Moves the selected part down
Synchronous drive up and down (E), (F)
Moves both back and leg up or down at the same time – independent of the
selected part
Light (G), (H )
Turns on or off the under bed light. The light box must be purchased as an
accessory.
Storing positions (I)
4 stored positions can be directly accessed by pressing the corresponding
button

Via the settings page 4 positions are possible to store. Simply press the
button and the actual position is stored. Via the bed control page the bed
moves to this position when the corresponding icon is pressed.
Switch bed
To select another connected bed, press the Bluetooth icon in the top right
corner of the screen. Then select a connected bed from the list or scan to
find new devices.
