READ ME FIRST
This product is designed for the car equipped with OEM Apple CarPlay funcon.
Please refer to the next page for how to check a car has Apple CarPlay or not.
However, NOT every car with built-in CarPlay could fit this adapter. If there is any issue while using the adapter, please save the log and send it to us(refer to page 18).
TIPS! In order to adapt to the factory display, the Android system will automacally restart once when the first me connecng to the car.
How to check a car has CarPlay or not

Plug an iPhone(running iOS 10 or newer) into the car USB ports with genuine factory lightning cable. If there is a noficaon pop up on iPhone like below, that your car has built-in Apple CarPlay.

If there is a CarPlay icon in the car stereo menu, that your car has built-in Apple CarPlay.

How to set up SIM card network
Normally, it’s not required to change the data network sengs. If there is network signal and could not use the mobile data for internet surfing, go to Sengs-Network & **internet-Mobile network-Advanced-Access Point Names,** choose other APN or add a new one refer to your cell phone with the same network operator

Smart adapter Settings
- Navigaon app setup : Not required to set up by default. If the music playback will not be volume down automacally while navigang, add the navigaon app into this setup item.
- Voice assist : The chosen app can be wake up through the speech buon of the car steering wheel or the voice icon of assisve touch. Select “SpeedPlay” in this item if could not wake up Siri / Google Assistant with steering wheel buon when using Apple CarPlay / Android Auto.
- Bootup app : The chosen app will be automacally opened aer entering the Android system.
- Use the OEM GPS data : Disable this opon by default. Some car models support this opon, you can use the original car GPS antenna to locate; For those cars that they don’t support original car GPS, enabling this opon will cause your current locaon can’t be located. It is required to restart the system aer switching opon status.
- Auto copy log : When you insert the MicroSD, the log file will be automacally copied to the MicroSD card and generang the x7-log folder if this opon is enabled.
- Copy log file to SD Card : Clicking this opon will copy the log file to the MicroSD card.
- System version : Including protocol version, Kernel version, version, etc.
How to use Bluetooth hands-free calling
Method 1: Enable iPhone/Android smartphone’s Bluetooth, search and pair to the Bluetooth device named
Method 2:
Turn on your iPhone/Android smartphone’s Bluetooth and stay on the BT menu
(allow new connecons).
- Select “Search” on interface.
- Select and pair your phone device from the list aer searching finished.
How to use wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
- Wireless Apple Carplay: Aer your iPhone connecng to the Bluetooth, open the “SpeedPlay” app in the interface. Next tap “Use CarPlay” on your iPhone noficaon. It will connect to wireless CarPlay aer a few seconds.
- Wireless Android Auto: Before using Android Auto, please make sure the latest Android Auto app installed on your smartphone. First, make sure you have enabled wireless projecon on Android Auto app sengs. Open “SpeedPlay” app on interface aer your Android phone has connected to the Bluetooth, next confirm the noficaons on your phone to use wireless Android Auto.
Soware Update
Generally, we DO NOT recommend soware update when all funcons work normally.
- Prepare a TF card and format into FAT32.
- Copy firmware named update.zip to the root directory of TF card.
- Insert the TF card into the adapter and power on.
- Wait for 2 minutes, when the red indicator starts to flash, take the TF card out.
- Next the adapter will start to upgrade automacally and the whole process is about 8 minutes.
- Aer the upgrade is complete, the red light will be always on, and the blue light will be flash.
How to save log
Any issue while using the adapter, you could save the log and email us. We will fix it as soon as possible.
- Aer inserng the TF card into the dapter, it will automacally copy the log file to the card, and display “Log copy complete”.
- If “Log copy complete” does not display aer inserng the TF card, go to Sengssengs, tap “Copy log file to SD Card” to copy the log manually.
