The PSU-10 EVO is an inductive power supply designed and developed with high- quality audio components to enhance the performance of the DS-10 and the DS-10 PLUS. The PSU-10 EVO comes in compact dimensions but delivers a great amount of power to bring you to a new level of musical pleasure and leverages unique features, including:

the Dual Choke Hybrid technology inductive filter
a 4-transformer design with three transformers dedicated to the power suppl
the ultra-low-noise linear voltage regulators

PSU-10 EVO guarantees clean energy to optimally power your DS-10, creating the ideal environment for the DS-10 to perform at the best.
Adding the PSU-10 EVO to your system will increase the level of detail and realism of your music, achieving greater dynamics, a finer resolution and more controlled power.

PLEASE NOTE

The LED is always ON when the PSU-10 EVO is in Standby (the Master Switch is ON).

QUICK START

INSTALLING THE PSU-10 EVO IS SIMPLE AND TAKES ONLY A FEW QUICK STEPS

Disconnect the DS-10 removing the AC power cord
Connect the PSU-10 EVO to the AC power outlet using the supplied power cord
Connect the PSU-10 EVO to the DS-10 using the supplied cable (see the image below)
Turn on the MASTER SWITCH on the rear panel of the PSU-10 EVO and then switch ON the DS-10 with the SKC

GND GROUND CONNECTOR

Every system operates in unique conditions due to the electrical interaction between different products and the electrical wiring and the GND connector on the PSU-10 allows you to try different configurations, including connecting it to the GND of the PH-10 or DS-10, to mitigate EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) and RFI (Radio-Frequency Interference) in order to ensure your system performs at the best.

PSU-10 EVO is designed to work in “slave mode” with DS-10 so you only need to turn the MASTER SWITCH ON and the PSU-10 EVO will be controlled by DS-10.

Every time DS-10 goes into STANDBY (the unit is OFF with the LED ON) the PSU-10 EVO will do the same and you don’t need to turn the MASTER SWITCH OFF.
If you need to turn OFF the MASTER SWITCH of the PSU-10 EVO:

turn OFF the MASTER SWITCH on DS-10
turn OFF the MASTER SWITCH on PSU-10 EVO

HOW TO POSITION PSU-10 E DS-10

To achieve the best performance DON’T place the PSU-10 EVO on TOP of the DS-10 but on its LEFT SIDE. Avoid placing the PSU-10 EVO too close to the DS-10 if possible.

WARRANTY

To validate the warranty is necessary to register the unit on the Gold Note internet web site within 15 days from the purchase on the appropriate area of the web site: www.goldnote.it/warranty
If the unit is not registered correctly or has been purchased from a different country of the purchaser home address the unit will not be covered by any warranty and the registration will be refused. The warranty does not cover in any case: Tubes, Phono Cartridge Stylus and Batteries.

SERVICE

Every GOLD NOTE® product is the result of meticulous technological research, and consequently their correct functioning is guaranteed. In spite of this it is possible that problems may emerge which non-specialist users cannot resolve. In this case, contact your dealer to be advised on how the fault can be solved. Do not return any object directly to the factory or to the distributor without being authorised to do so. In such cases both GOLD NOTE® and the distribution agents decline responsibility of any kind. TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM	CAUSE	SOLUTION
The LED on the front panel is OFF	the POWER CORD is damaged or not plugged
in	ensure that the POWER CORD is not damaged and connect it properly to the

power outlet and the AC plug on PSU-10 EVO
the MASTER SWITCH is OFF| turn ON the MASTER SWITCH on the rear panel of PSU-10 EVO
The DS-10 LED does not light up when powered by the PSU-10 EVO| the PSU CONNECTION CABLE not plugged in| ensure that the PSU CONNECTION CABLE is not damaged and connect it properly to the PSU OUT port on the PSU-10 EVO and to the PSU port on the DS-10
The DS-10 is noisy| the PSU-10 EVO is not correctly placed| ensure that the PSU-10 EVO is placed on the LEFT HAND SIDE of the DS-10 (possibly with some distance)
