An instruction manual

The DO-9100 type pen type intelligent dissolved oxygen analyzer (hereinafter referred to as the instrument) is designed to facilitate the user to carry the operation on the spot. The instrument can be divided into two parts, the sensor and the electronic unit. The polarographic film coated oxygen electrode was used in the sensor. The electronic unit is composed of high integrated circuits. The instrument can display the value of dissolved oxygen and temperature by using a lattice liquid crystal display.

3. The use and difficulty of the instrument

The electrode in the factory is dry. Before use, it is necessary to add the inner filling of the electrode.

1. the new electrode film is taken out and the inner filling of 3/4 electrode is added to ensure that no bubbles exist in the electrode film sleeve. If the bubble can pinch the electrode film and finger tapping, the bubble will rise in the electrode film sleeve, thereby removing bubbles.

2. the electrode membrane which is added to the electrode is added to the electrode until it is tightened. During the rotation of the film, the film gradually adhered to the surface of the gold electrode to be leveled. There is no small bubble in the cavity as much as possible during the installation.
Note: if the inner filling of the electrode is overflowing, please dry the overflow.

3. before use, we must add the filling liquid in the electrode, connect the electrode to the instrument, start the machine, and polarizing the electrode for 30 minutes, so that the electrode can be used. If the electrode is inserted into the oxygen free water or saturated dissolved oxygen, the change of the electrode mold sleeve and the filling liquid in the electrode or the regeneration of the cathode should be replaced.

4.Calibration
100.0% calibration in air
1. Press (MODE/CAL) key to switch to% mode
2. The waiting value is stable: press the (MODE/CAL) key for 5 seconds wait for 100.0% to flash 3 times, complete calibration.

5. Measurement
The electrode is immersed in the measured solution, and the electrode is stirred properly to wait for the value to be stable. At this time the reading of the instrument is the dissolved oxygen value of the measured water sample.

4.Matters needing attention

When the dissolved oxygen is measured, there should be relative motion between the electrode and the measured water. In laboratory measurement, electromagnetic stirrers or motor agitators can be used, and the electrodes can be gently gently swayed while measuring, but the agitation can not be too intense, which can not cause the oxygen exchange between air and the tested samples. After waiting for the data to be stable, the measured value is the dissolved oxygen value of the solution.

Although the instrument has the ability of automatic temperature compensation, it is rather difficult to carry out automatic temperature compensation and maintain high measurement accuracy in a wide temperature range. Therefore, in the span of temperature calibration, calibration of the temperature of the sample should be close to the tested temperature.

5.Maintenance of the instrument

If a instrument can be properly maintained, it is essential to ensure the accuracy of the instrument and prolong the service life of the instrument, especially the electrode.

For the LCD unit, if you find a fault, please do not dismantle it. Please send it back to the factory for inspection and repair. When the instrument is out of use for a long time, the battery should be removed to avoid deterioration or destruction of the battery. When the instrument is used in the field, the power should be shut down and the battery should be removed to prolong the life of the battery when the measurement is not carried out for a long time. Under discontinuous working conditions, the battery life is about 24 hours.

6.The maintenance of the electrode

The maintenance of oxygen electrode includes regular replacement of electrolyte and film, regular cleaning and regeneration of electrodes.

1. Remove the electrode from the instrument.
2. Spin off the old electrode film sleeve, use distilled water to flush the measuring end of the electrode and the electrode film sleeve.

3. If the gold cathode is dark, it needs polishing with polishing paper, dropping a drop of deionized water on the polishing paper, making the gold cathode ring on the wet polishing paper and rubbing it for 5 to 10 circles. After grinding it, rinse the electrode with deionized water to remove the residue and dry it with paper towel. The gold cathode becomes bright after polishing.

4. The method of cleaning and reproducing the silver anode is as follows. After careful examination of silver anode surface, the anode surface usually has a silver gray luster. If the silver anode surface is black, it needs polishing paper to gently rub the silver anode surface. After grinding, wash the electrode with deionized water to remove residue and dry it with paper towel.

7.Storage of electrodes

When electrodes are not used, electrodes should be stored in distilled water after boiling and cooling. It is not necessary to immerse electrodes in sodium sulfite solution for a long time, because the above solutions penetrate into the electrode cavity, which will deteriorate the performance of electrodes.

When the electrode is not used for a long time, the electrode film sleeve can be taken out. After washing the electrode with distilled water, the electrode can be dried and stored.

The instrument should be stored in a room where the relative humidity is not greater than 85%, the temperature is no more than 40 degrees, and there will be no corrosive gas. When the instrument is not used for a long time, the dry cell inside the instrument should be removed.

Maintenance

If the instruments have non-human factors such as incomplete LCD display or unavailability, you can contact after-sales personnel for replacement or repair.

How to reset

Open the meters, press for 5 seconds, then release the button, it will display “—–”reset is successful.
