Thank you for purchasing the Soothing Slumbers Sloth ProjectorTM. Help little ones self soothe. When baby cries, the softly projecting sloth responds with calming lullabies and nature sounds.
PRODUCT FEATURES
INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE
WARNING All packing materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging
locks, removable tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part of
this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE Please save this Instruction Manual as it contains important
information.
Removing the Packaging Locks
- Turn the packaging lock counterclockwise several times.
- Pull out and discard the packaging lock.
GETTING STARTED
Battery Removal and Installation
- Make sure the unit is turned Off.
- Find the battery cover on the back of the unit, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw, and then open the battery cover.
- Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
- Install 3 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended.)
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
WARNING: Adult assembly required for battery installation. Keep batteries out of reach of children.
IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
- Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
- Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from toy before charging.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
PRODUCT FEATURES

On/Off/Timer Selector
To turn the unit On, slide the On/Off/ Timer Selector to the 15 mins 15 or 45 mins 45 position. To turn the unit Off, slide the selector to the Off OFF position. -
Volume Buttons
To adjust the volume, press the Low Volume Button – or the High Volume Button +. -
Light Control Button
Press the Light Control Button to choose between the night light and the light projection. -
Sound Sensor
This projector is equipped with a special Sound Sensor. Once the set time is up, the unit will automatically shut off. The sensor will turn on the program when it detects baby’s cry for approximately two seconds without interruption. The unit will turn on and play lullabies or nature sounds. -
Automatic Shut Off
To preserve battery life, the Soothing Slumbers Sloth ProjectorTM will automatically shut off after the timer has expired. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button or when baby’s cries are detected.
NOTE If the unit powers down or if the light fades out during play, please install a new set of batteries.

- Lullabies Button : Press the Lullabies Button to hear sing-along songs, phrases, and soothing melodies. The projector will light up, and the night light will glow.
- Nature Sounds Button : Press the Nature Sounds Button to hear soothing tones. The projector will light up, and the night light will glow.

How to Use the Soothing Slumbers Sloth ProjectorTM

CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
- Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
- Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
- Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:
- Turn the unit Off.
- Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
- Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
- Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to use again.
- If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
