KisanKraft KK-WPE-800C Electric Water Pump User Manual
Before Getting Started
Thank you for your purchase and use of our products. In order to avoid accidents or injury, please read this manual carefully before using the machine. After reading, preserve it for further reference. Our company will not be responsible for any personal injury or mechanical failure caused by improper operation of the water pump. This manual describes the basic operation and maintenance instructions of new water pump. The data given in this manual is subject to change without prior notice.
APPLICATION This pump is used primarily as cellar pump. When installed in a shaft, the pump provides protection from flooding. It is also used wherever water has to be moved from one place to another, e.g., in the home, agriculture, horticulture, plumbing and many other applications.
The CUT pumps are specifically designed for pumping untreated wastewater from domestic, commercial, or municipal sources. The high discharge pressure enables transfer of wastewater over longer distances. The pump can cut up fiber mixture in water easily for example: glovers, rope, cloth, being not wound and no obstruction, it also can reduce energy consumption and keep downtime costs to a minimum, while maintaining peak performance throughout the system life.
WARNING! Read this manual and general safety instructions carefully before
using the appliance, for your own safety. Your power tool should only be
passed on together with these instructions.
GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow all warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains operated (corded) power tool or battery operated (cordless) power tool.
Caution
The appliance is not suitable for continuous pump operation (e.g., continuous
circulation in a pond) or as a stationary installation (such as a lifting
device, fountain pump). Caustic, slightly inflammable and other explosive
substances such as petrol, petroleum, diluted nitrogen, greases, oils, salt
water and wastewater from toilets as well as sludgy water that has a slower
flow capacity than water, should not be transported using the pump. The
temperature of the transported fluids should not exceed 35°C.
Safety Instructions
Danger of death
Violating these safety instructions may result in death through electrocution
-
Check the power cord with mains plug for damage before every use. If the power cord is damaged, please arrange immediately for the exchange by an authorized customer service or a skilled electrician.
-
All electrical sockets should be fixed in an area that is protected against floods.
-
Unsuitable extension cables can be hazardous. Only use extension cables outdoors which have been approved for this purpose and labelled with a sufficient cable cross section. The plug and coupling of the extension cable used must be spray watertight.
-
Do not use the mains cable or the cable of the level sensor to transport or fasten the appliance.
-
To separate the machine from the mains, pull the plug and not the power cord.
-
Do not scrape the power cord across sharp edges and ensure that it does not get pressed.
-
The voltage indicated on the type of plate must correspond to the voltage of the electrical source.
-
To avoid risks, all repairs and replacement of spare parts may only be carried out by the authorized customer service personnel.
-
Follow the rules for electrical safety of equipment: When pumping out swimming pools, garden ponds and fountains, only using an earth-leakage circuit breaker with a nominal leakage current of max. 30 mA with the immersion pump. Do not operate the pump if there are persons located in the swimming pool or the garden pond. For safety reasons, we recommend that you operate the appliance only via an earthleakage circuit breaker (max. 30 mA).
The electrical connection of the system may only be performed by a qualified electrician.
Please follow the respective national regulations! -
This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities or lacking experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or are instructed by these persons on the use of the device. DESCRIPTION
- Motor housing
- Water inlet
- Water outlet
- Cable & plug
- Floating switch
- Carrying handle
Installation
Connecting the outlet pipe
Connect the outlet pipe to the outlet opening.
Please note! You should never install the pump by suspending it unsupported from its delivery pipe or power cable. The submersible motor pump must be suspended from the specially provided handle or be placed on the bottom of the shaft. To guarantee that the pump works properly, the bottom of the shaft must be kept free of sludge and dirt of all kinds.
If the level of water sinks too far, any sludge in the shaft will dry out quickly and stop the pump from starting up. Therefore, it is necessary to check the submersible motor pump regularly (by carrying out start-up tests). The floater is adjusted in a way that the pump can immediately be started
Note! The pump shaft should have minimum dimensions of 40 x 40 x 50 cm, so that the floating switch can move freely.
Main’s supply
Your new submersible pump is equipped with a shock-proof plug according to
regulations. The pump is designed to be connected to a safety socket of
220-240V~ 50Hz.
Important Note!
If the mains cable or plug suffers any damage from external action, repairs to
the cable are prohibited.
SETTING TO WORK
After having read these instructions carefully, you can set your pump to work, reconsidering the following:
- Check if the pump rests on the ground of the shaft.
- Check of pressure cord has been attached properly.
- Make sure that the electrical connection is 220-240V~ 50 Hz.
- Check if socket is in good condition.
- Make sure that water and humidity can never come to the mains supply.
- Avoid pump running dry
Before installing or moving the pump always remove the mains plug from the wall socket
Switching on and off
- To switch on the pump, insert the mains plug in the wall socket.
- To switch off the pump, remove the mains plug from the wall socket. The pump only operates when the float switch floats. This prevents the pump from running dry during operation.
Cleaning And Maintenance
Attention! Before performing any work on the equipment, pull the power plug.
**** Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These solvents may damage the plastic parts.
Service
The pump is maintenance free. Defects must only be repaired by an authorized
service station.
Cleaning
- When the pump is often transported in the course of operation, it should be cleaned out with clear water after every use.
- In case of stationary installation, the function of the bating switch should be checked every 3 months.
- All fibrous particles which may have built-up inside the pump housing should be removed with a water jet.
- Every 3 months the shaft ground and as should be cleaned from mud.
- Remove deposits on the floater with clear water.
The pump must not be opened by the user.
