Product Information: AU 089 Electric Shaver

The AU 089 Electric Shaver is a household use shaver that comes with shaving meshes, shaving meshes body, clamps for securing the meshes body, switch, charge indicator, power cord, and fleecy tassel. The device runs on a motor and a rechargeable battery. The battery has a lifespan of approximately one year, depending on the intensity of product use. The shaver requires a charging time of 8 hours for full charge and has a charging indicator light.

Security Measures

It is recommended not to share the electric shaver with other family members or people to avoid infection or inflammation. The user must disconnect the shaver from the electric network and ensure that the motor stops completely before cleaning or maintaining the product. It is also recommended to remove the battery from the product before disposal and keep it out of the reach of children and babies.

Preparation for Operation

To charge the product, connect the power cord to the shaver and plug it into an USB outlet. The light charge indicator will light up, indicating that the device is charging. During charging, the unit does not work. The shaver requires 8 hours of charging time for full charge. It is advisable not to charge the shaver regularly for more than 10 hours as this can reduce battery capacity.

Operation

Before using the electric shaver, remove the protective cap. Use the device as per the user’s convenience and ensure that it is disconnected from the electric network after use.

SECURITY MEASURES

Please read this manual carefully before using the product to avoid damage during use. Before switching on the product, make sure that the technical specifications of the product shown on the label correspond to the parameters of the electric network. Incorrect use can lead to damage of the product, cause material damage or damage to the health of the user. Use it only for household purposes in accordance with this Manual. The product is not intended for commercial use. Use the product only for its intended purpose. Do not use the product near the kitchen sink and in rooms with high humidity. Always unplug the product from the electrical network when it is not in use, as well as before assembly, disassembly and cleaning. The product must not be unattended while it is connected to the electric network. Make sure that the power cord does not touch the sharp edges of furniture and hot surfaces. To avoid electric shock, do not attempt to disassemble or repair the product by yourself. When disconnecting the product from the electric network, do not pull off the power cord. Do not twist or wind the cord. The product is not designed to be operated by an external timer or a separate remote control system.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without super-vision.

ATTENTION
Do not allow children under 8 years to touch the body, the power cord while the product is in operation or in charging. . If the product has been kept for a while at a temperature below 0ºC, it must be left at room temperature for at least 2 hours before being switched on.

CAUTION
The time of continuous operation should not exceed 3 minutes with a mandatory break of at least 10 minutes between operations. CAUTION! The shaver blades are very sharp and dangerous. Use them very carefully!

CAUTION
The shaving mesh is very thin. If it is used improperly, it may be easily damaged. In order to avoid injury, do not use the shaver if it has a dam-aged shaving mesh or knife. IT IS FORBIDDEN! To immerse the shaver, the power cord into water or any other liquids. Charging the battery should take place at a temperature from 0°C to + 35°C and at a relative humidity of not more than 80%.

CAUTION
To recharge the electric shaver, use the power cord that came with the set.

WARNING

ATTENTION
Charging the product with the above-recommended power supply may cause the product body to become hot and the battery pack destroyed.

CAUTION
Excessive pressure of the shaver on the skin during operation does not improve the quality of shaving, and may lead to the shaving net damage.

CAUTION
Do not allow other members of your family or other persons to use the electric shaver, this may result in infection or inflammation.

CAUTION
The accumulator life span is about 1 year and it depends on the intensity of the product use. The battery needs to be recharged twice a year – after switching on the product, wait until the motor stops completely. This must be done even if the shaver is not in use.

ACCUMULATOR REMOVING
The battery must be removed from the product before it is disposed. When removing the battery from the product, it must be completely discharged, the product must be turned off and disconnected from the electric network. Do not throw or heat the battery. Do not strike, disassemble, or puncture the battery with sharp objects. After removing the battery, keep it out of the reach of children and babies. If the battery leaks, do not touch it with bare hands. The battery must be delivered to a specialized reception point.

PREPARATION FOR OPERATION CHARGING THE PRODUCT

  1. Connect the power cord to the shaver, and plug the power cord into an USB outlet. The light charge indicator will light up .
  2. During charging, the unit does not work.
  3. The shaver is fully charged in 8 hours.
  4. If the shaver regularly charges for more than 10 hours, this reduces the battery capacity.

OPERATION

  1. Remove the protective cap.
  2. Turn on the shaver.
  3. During shaving, hold the shaver at a right angle (90°) with respect to the skin.
  4. After finishing shaving, turn off the shaver.5. To prevent damage to the shaving mesh and knives, always cover them with a protective cap when you do not use the shaver or during transportation.

FOLDING TRIMMER
The trimmer is designed for leveling the temporal part of the hair or sideburns (Fig. 1).

REPLACING THE SHAVING HEAD
The replacement of the shaving head is shown in the pictures 2, 3.

CLEANING AND CARE

Each time after the end of operation, it is necessary to clean the shaving heads and knives. Clean the shaving knives and shaving mesh carefully and accurately. Shaving mesh should be cleaned with the long part of the fleecy brush. Short part of the fleecy brush is necessary for cleaning the shaving blades. After cleaning grease the fixed grids with oil for sewing machines or clippers. This will prevent the wear and tear of shaving heads. After cleaning and lubrication, close the shaving unit, put a protective cap on it. Wipe the shaver body with a soft damp cloth. It is allowed to wash the shaving unit under a stream of warm water. Avoid getting water into the body of the electric shaver. After washing the shaving block, wipe it with a clean, dry cloth.

STORAGE
Before storage, make sure that the product is disconnected from electric network. Complete all the requirements of the CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE section. Keep the product in a dry, cool place and out of the reach of children.

If the warranty card field «Model», «Serial number», «date of sale», «Company name», «Printing firm-seller» and «buyer’s signature» are not filled, the warranty period is calculated from the date of manufacture of the product. During the warranty period, service is available only to authorized persons (see. A list of authorized service centers: www.aurora-tm.eu). The warranty does not cover products, problems which have arisen as a consequence:

  1. Violations of customer environments.
  2. Do not use the product target.
  3. Mechanical damage caused during operation or transportation.
  4. The ingestion of foreign objects or products insects.
