Precaution

• Do not expose the LCD screen to direct sunlight as it will damage the screen. Be careful when placing the monitor in a high place or a place without fixture.
• If the monitor is used in a cold place, horizontal lines or a residual image may appear on the screen. This s not a malfunction. When the monitor becomes warm,the screen returns to normal.
• If you have been displaying the same image for a long time, such as a split image, time code or still image, the image may remain on the screen and be superimposed as a ghost image.
• The LCD panel of this monitor is manufactured with high precision technology. Thus a very small proportion of pixels may be stuck, either always off(black), always on(red, green, blue) or flashing state. In addition, over a long period of use, because of the physical characteristics of the liquid crystal, such stuck pixels may appear spontaneously. These problems are not malfunctions.
• Use branded batteries and charging devices to reduce battery risks caused by poor charging,

Safety and Product Information

• Please do not disassemble the waterproof shell of the monitor by yourself to avoid damage caused by personal disassembly and repair
• Do not place the monitor waterproof case in direct sunlight or high temperature for a long time.
• Use a soft cloth (such as a cleaning cloth or a glass cleaning cloth) to gently wipe the display.
• If the monitor case is not used for a long time, please take out the battery in time and store it in a dry and cool place.
• When it is used underwater, do not unscrew, unplug the HDMI cable at both ends of the hardware plug and the lithium battery cover to prevent leakage and damage to the electronic components inside the monitor and LCD screen.
• After use, be sure to put the monitor waterproof case in fresh water, shake, clean and soak for 30 minutes to remove the salt and impurities attached to the shell and avoid the case being corroded and rusted. f the parts get rusted, because they are not cleaned after use and lead to water leakage, maintenance costs must be borne by the user.

Parts Operation

Up/down button, left/right button, +/- button
According to different page operations can be up and down keys, left and right keys, plus or minus keys;

It can be a menu button or a confirm button;

Power on/off button; Power indicator
Long press the power button for one second to start up; Long press the power off button for two seconds to shut down; When the monitor s on, the power indicator is green, indicating that the monitor is fully charged. If the power indicator s red, the current power is not fully charged
(Note: the specific power indicator s subject to the power grid display on the display screen; Long press the power button to start up, when the power indicator is on, the display screen will display the content within 1~ 5 seconds.This s the normal startup state of the display screen, not a fault)

Install Battery and Uninstall The Adapter

As shown in the figure, install two 18650 batteries in the positive and negative direction into the battery compartment.

HDMI Cable Connection

Warning
If the input/output interface s not connected, keep the protection cover sealed. Otherwise, the product will be damaged by water.
When the HDMI signal cable is connected to the camera, if there is o video display,please check whether the camera has HOMI output signals, or whether the HDMI signal cable is connected successfully

Menu Operation

Before setting, make sure the monitor is connected with correct signal input. Press and hold on the power button to turn on the device, then press the menu button and the function menu dialog will appear, press < > to select the required options.

Troubleshooting

Please check the monitor according to the following steps before you ask for repair service.

– Check the camera hot shoe type and select the correct hot shoe adapter
No image appears on the screen of the monitor| – Me camera is in power saving mode
– Carry out some camera function such as half-pressing the shutter button to exit power saving mode
– The HDMI cable is disconnected→Reconnect it properly
– The shooting image may not be displayed on this unit when using a camera that does not have the live view function. Refer to the instruction manual of the camera for details
– The HDMI signal channel is incorrectly selected, please select it again in the menu: AV/HDMI
Product screen shows no signal| – Whether the camera has HDMI signal output function; Whether the HDMI high-definition signal cable is successfully connected
Cannot shoot| – Depending on the camera, when the camera connects to this monitor switch the camera to shooting mode before taking pictures
Black stripes appear on the screen| – The aspect ratio of the LCD panel of this monitor is 16:10. so black stripes may appear depending on the image
