CLIPSAL 230DRAQTPL Meter Box
Product Information
The Meter Box 230DRAQTPL en is an electrical enclosure designed to house circuit protection devices and metering equipment. It is used in residential and commercial settings to protect electrical equipment from damage and prevent electrical hazards. The product features a meter panel with provision for three-meter isolation links, one meter isolation link supplied with the product. It also includes a neutral and earth terminal bar, provision for L5 or L7 neutral link mounting, and cable protection slide and lead tie-off point to help comply with AS/NZS 3012 for temporary installation.
Product Usage Instructions

Danger: Before working on the product, turn off all power supplying it. Use a voltage tester with a suitable rated voltage to check that all active conductors aren’t energized. Carefully inspect the work area to check that no tools or objects could have been left inside the equipment. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or serious injury.

Unbox the product following the orientation provided.

Identify the parts using the parts identification section of the manual.

To fix the meter isolation link, follow these steps:
- On the meter panel’s front side, pull out the meter isolation link fuse carrier from the base portion.
- Remove the nut and pull out the meter panel.
- Make wiring connections to the meter isolation link.
- After wiring, push back the meter panel to its original position and tighten the nut. Re-assemble the fuse carrier to the base portion.

To connect neutral and earth, use a terminal bar and tighten the screws to 1.2 Nm.

To install a circuit protection device, follow these steps:

Remove the facia plate and use grommets or conduits to seal off open knockouts properly for routing wires.

Add a DIN-mounted protection device as required.
Note : DIN is suitable for 21 modules of 18 mm each. -
Reassemble the facia plate and fill the unused space with the pole filler provided in the accessory bag.

To comply with AS/NZS 3012 for temporary installation, pass the leads through cable protection slide at the bottom opening and tie them off before plugging them into a socket outlet. Ensure the door is closed after installation.

To lock the door, knock out the slot from the inside of the door, dismount the pre-assembled locking strap, reverse the locking strap in the same position, and reassemble it with the screws.
Note : Padlock not included. -
Follow local service and installation rules for both temporary and permanent installations.

Meter Isolation Link Fixation
- Pull out the meter isolation link fuse carrier from the base portion
- Remove the nut and pull out the meter panel
- Wiring connection to meter isolation link.
- After wiring, push back the meter panel to its original position and tighten the nut.
- Re-assemble the fuse carrier to the base portion

Doorlock Instruction
- Knockout the slot from the inside of door
- Dismount the pre-assembled locking strap
- Reverse the locking strap in same position and reassemble it with the screws
