CHARGING THE Hummer:

Connect the Hummer using the included micro USB Cable to the USB input port and the 2A car adapter. It can also be recharged from any USB powered port, like an AC adapter, car charger and laptop etc. It is recommended to charge with the 2A USB adapter for optimal charging speeds. The charging time of Hummer will differ based on the discharge level and the power source used. Actual results may vary due to battery conditions.

JUMP STARTING A VEHICLE:

Before jump starting the vehicle, ensure that the battery level of the
Hummer is sufficient for jump starting (i.e. over THREE lights).

JUMP STARTING STEPS:

  1. Ensure that the battery level of the jump starter is sufficient for jump starting (i.e. over THREE lights).

  2. Plug the Sparkless Smart Cable into the jump starter.

  3. Connect Red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal first, then connect Black clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal.

  4. Before jump starting, check the jump start indicator beside the BOOST button.

a. If the green indicator light is on, means ready to jump start.
b. If the red indicator light is on, means a misconnection between the clamp and battery terminal.
c. If the red indicator light is blinking, means Reverse Charge protection is activated or Low Battery.
d. If no light is on, press the BOOST button for 3 seconds until the green indicator light turns on, by which time the jump starter is ready for use.
5. Once the vehicle has been successfully jump started, disconnect the jumper cable clamps from the vehicle battery terminals.

JUMP STARTING WARNINGS!

  • DON’T connect the RED and the BLACK clamps to each other or connect the two clamps to any metal to prevent physical injury or damage to the vehicle.
  • DON’T use the jumper cable for any purpose other than jump starting a vehicle.
  • Always check to see if the jumper cable clamps are properly connected. DON’T attempt to jump start after THREE attempts to prevent damage to the main unit. Check your vehicle to see if it has any problems.
  • DON’T crank the engine continuously for more than 5 seconds each time.
  • Stay clear of the vehicle battery while jump starting.
  • Use this product in a ventilated area. Wear safety glasses or goggles to protect your eyes.
  • Turn off the ignition before connecting the jumper cable clamps to the vehicle battery.
  • Never connect to the fuel line, fuel injector or carburetor as the engine ground.
  • Keep away from children to prevent accident.

CHARGING USB DEVICES (e.g. SMARTPHONES):

  1. Make sure the USB device is 5V powered.
  2. Connect the included USB Charge Cable to the USB output port of the Hummer and connect to the USB device for charging. (If the included cable is not suitable for your device, you can select your own appropriate USB Charge Cable).
  3. The USB port will accept standard USB Charge Cable included with your USB device.
  4. Press the Power button to start charging the USB device.
  5. The number of times you can recharge a USB device will vary between devices.

TURNING ON/OFF THE LED LIGHT:

Press the LED ON/OFF Button and hold for 3 seconds to turn on the LED light. Press again for Strobe, again for SOS light mode and again to turn the LED light off.

TURNING OFF THE Hummer:

The Hummer has a built-in energy saving feature that will automatically turn the unit off after the connected USB device has been fully charged or no load to the charger.

FAQ:

Q1: What are the features of the Hummer?
A1: Apart from jump starter function, the Hummer can be used to recharge virtually any 5V powered USB devices, such as mobile smartphones, tablets, portable gaming system, digital cameras, camcorders, and portable GPS devices, etc. It can also jump start a drained car battery with the included Sparkless Smart Cable. It is also equipped with a built-in ultrabright LED flashlight.

Q2: How does the Sparkless Smart Cable work?
A2: If the green indicator light is on, means ready to jump start; If the red indicator light is on, means a misconnection between the clamp and the battery terminal; If no light is on, press the BOOST button for 3 seconds until the green indicator light turns on, by
which time the jump starter is ready for use. If the red indicator light is blinking, means the Reverse Charge protection is activated or Low Battery.

Q3: Will reversing polarity connections of the jump start cable damage the vehicle?
A3: Not at all, the Hummer is very safe with Sparkless Smart Cable. If you accidentally connect the RED and BLACK cable clamps to the wrong polarity terminal and attempt to jump start the vehicle, the Sparkless Smart Cable (the red indicator light is on) will cut the power immediately to prevent injury and avoid damaging the vehicle.

Q4: What if it doesn’t jump start the vehicle?
A4: If the Hummer fails to jump start the engine, please wait at least 10 seconds before attempting to try again and please do not crank the engine continuously for more than 5 seconds each time. If still not succeed after 3 attempts, it may be due to other problems of the vehicle. Do not try to crank the engine continuously for more than 10 times in a row. It is also highly recommended to replace the vehicle battery once every 2-3 years.

Q5: How many times can the Hummer jump start a vehicle?
A5: Approximately 12 times with a 100% fully charged battery. Actual results may vary due to battery conditions.

Q6: How long is the Hummer standby time?
A6: The standby time of Hummer is up to 6-8 months if it is fully charged. It is recommended to fully discharge the battery via USB output port and recharge to full every 3 months to prolong its battery life. Result may vary depending on the owner usage and the battery conditions.

Q7: How long will it take to fully recharge the Hummer to the maximum battery level?
A7: It takes about 5 to 6 hours through the 5V/2A input port. Actual results may vary due to battery conditions. It is not recommended to use 1A adapter.

Q8: How long will it take to fully recharge a smartphone or USB devices?
A8: The number of times you can recharge a smartphone will vary between different smartphones and devices. For recharge times, contact your device manufacturer.
