Product Information

The Eastland Pendant Colgante Luminaire Suspendu, SKU 944695, is a ceiling light fixture designed to provide ambient lighting. It features a circular strap for mounting, two tubes for the downrod, and a swivel canopy that allows for easy installation on sloped ceilings. The fixture has a white finish and uses standard E26 bulbs, up to 60 watts.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before beginning the installation process, consult with a professional if you are unfamiliar with installing electric fixtures.
2. Unpack and inspect the product for shipping damage. If there is any damage, contact Signature Hardware customer support.
3. Gather all the required materials needed for the installation. Refer to the tools required for assembly section in the manual.
4. Clean the fixture with a soft cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive materials.
5. To install the fixture, follow the instructions provided in the manual. Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white wire from the outlet box and the black wire from the fixture to the black wire from the outlet box.
6. Cover the two wire connections using the two provided wire connectors. Wrap the two wire connections with electrical tape for a more secure connection.
7. Connect the copper ground wires from the fixture and from the outlet box to the ground screw on the circular strap. Consult your local electrical code for approved grounding methods if you have any electrical questions.
8. After connecting the wires, tuck them carefully inside the outlet box. Raise the front plate allowing for the mounting screws to protrude through the holes on the front plate and secure with ball nuts.
9. Assemble the tubes together, then thread the bottom end of tube onto the nipple and thread the nipple into the swivel on the canopy tightly.

FOR YOUR SAFETY

WARNING : Be sure the electricity to the wires you are working on is shut off, either the fuse is removed or the circuit breaker is shut off. You don’t need special tools to install this fixture. Be sure to follow the steps in the order given. Under no circumstances should a fixture be hung on house electrical wires, nor should a swag type fixture be installed on a ceiling which contains a radiant type heating system. Read instructions carefully, if you are unclear as to how to proceed, consult a qualified electircian.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To clean, wipe fixture with a soft cloth. Clean glass with a mild soap. Do not use abrasive materials such as scouring pads or powders, steel wool or abrasive paper.

INSTALLATION

1. Thread the mounting screws (A) into the matching holes in the circular strap (B).

2. Secure circular strap (B) to the outlet box with outlet box screws (C).

3. Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white wire from the outlet box and the black wire from the fixture to the black wire from the outlet box. Cover the two wire connections using the two provided wire connectors. Wrap the two wire connections with electrical tape for a more secure connection. Connect the copper ground wires from the fixture and from the outlet box to the ground screw on the circular strap.
   Note : If you have electrical questions consult your local electrical code for approved grounding methods.

4. After wires are connected, tuck them carefully inside outlet box. Raise the front plate (D) allowing for the mounting screws (A) to protrude through the holes on front plate (D), and secure with the ball nuts (E).

5. Assemble the tubes (H) & (G) together, then thread the bottom end of tube (H) onto the nipple (I) and thread the nipple (F) into the swivel on the canopy tightly.

6. Install light bulbs (not provided). Please do not exceed the maximum wattage capacity recommended on the socket (J). We recommend the use of a clear light bulb.

TO REPLACE THE GLASS

1. Remove fixture from the ceiling.
2. Remove the stems(H) from the canopy(K) by  removing the stems from the swivel (L).
3. Remove the stem connected to the ring(M).
4. Remove the ring(M), remove the cap(N).
5. Remove the glass by pulling out the wiring from the opening of the glass
