FAQ

  • Why is my turntable not connecting to Bluetooth?
  • Ensure the turntable is powered on, your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode, and other devices’ Bluetooth functions are turned off. Initial connections may take longer due to differences in Bluetooth protocols.
  • Why does the turntable power off automatically?
  • This is an energy-saving feature. If inactive for more than 20 minutes, it will power off and require you to turn the power switch off and on again for use.
  • What do I need to play sound from the turntable?
  • You’ll need powered speakers or an amplifier, as the turntable has a preamp but no built-in amplifier.
  • Can I play music from my phone through the turntable’s Bluetooth?
  • No, the turntable’s Bluetooth only supports output, not input from devices like phones.
  • What can cause a strong hum or distorted sound?
  • Issues can be due to improper grounding, the turntable being too close to speakers, damaged parts, or incorrect settings on the pre-amplifier.

Power off automatically after the end of the playback, how to fix this problem?

  • This is normal since this turntable has Energy-saving features; if you don’t use the record player for more than 20 minutes, the record player will automatically power off, and you have to turn off the power switch and turn it on again when you play.

There is no power

  • Please check if the turntable is not connected to the power adapter or if there is no power at the outlet.

Does the arm automatically go onto the record by itself to play and vice versa?

  • The turntable is not automatic, so you should manually put the tonearm onto therecord or put it back.
  • Do I have to hook this turntable to speakers? Or will it play on its own? This turntable system has a preamp but no amplifier so you would need either powered/active speakers or a receiver or amplifier.

What to do if the Bluetooth never goes into pairing mode?

  1. Power on your Bluetooth speaker and ensure it is in pairing mode.
  2. Power on the turntable. BT will auto-search when the turntable turns on and the BT LED indicator light will flash.

Can the Bluetooth function play my phone’s music?

  • No. The Bluetooth function of the turntable only supports Bluetooth Output.

Strong hum on the phono input

  1. No ground connection from the cartridge, arm, or arm cable to the amplifier or ground loop.
  2. The turntable is too close to the speakers.

Distorted or inconsistent sound from one or both channels

  1. A turntable is connected to the wrong input of the amplifier.
  2. Needle or cantilever damaged
  3. Drive belt overstretched or dirty.
  4. Platter bearing without oil, dirty or damaged.
  5. Dust on a stylus.
  6. MM / MC switch on pre-amplifier set incorrectly
