IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
When using the product, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of injury including the following:
Danger of carbon monoxide poisoning fatality.
Do not use this product in a confined and/or habitable space e.g. houses,
tents, caravans, motor homes, boats.
CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD
Burning charcoal inside can kill you. It gives off carbon monoxide, which has
no odor.
NEVER burn charcoal inside homes, vehicles or tents.
Risk of fire!
It is not recommended to use this product on a wooden or flammable surfaces.
If you intend to use this product on a wooden deck, or other surface that is
not heat-resistant, use heat-resistant material such as concrete pavers, brick
or stone between the product and the surface.
Risk of burns!
- Keep children and pets away.
- Never attempt to move a hot grill.
It’s easy to stumble or drop it and serious burns could result.
Risk of cuts!
Product have sharp edges. Wear protective gloves when assembling the product.
- Only use your grill outside. Keep it at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from siding, deck rails and eaves.
- This product is intended for household use only.
- This product must be assembled by a competent adult.
- Do not let children play with the product.
- Do not use in windy conditions.
- Do not cook before the fuel has a coating of ash.
- Wear clothing that does not have hanging shirt tails, frills, or apron strings that can catch fire, and use flame-retardant mitts when adjusting air vents.
- Use a maximum of 3.8 lbs (1.75 kg) of charcoal when lighting the fire.
- Place the product on a firm, flat, level, heatresistant, non-flammable surface away from flammable items, such as wooden fences or overhanging trees.
- When placing the product, keep a minimum distance of 3 ft (0.9 m) around it, including overhead.
- Do not place hot parts of this product (for example hood) onto flammable surfaces such as wooden deck or furniture.
- Always use heat-resistant protective gloves when handling this product.
- Do not leave this product unattended when the charcoal is glowing.
- Do not store flammable materials near this product.
- Do not use aerosols near this product.
- Use baking soda to control a grease fire and have a fire extinguisher handy. A bucket of sand or a garden hose should be near if you don’t have a commercial extinguisher.
- Only burn charcoal in this product.
- Never burn green wood, construction waste, plastic, garbage, or yard waste. They create more smoke and can be toxic.
- Take extra care if you live in a region where bush fires are of concern.
- Some local governments have adopted ordinances to restrict backyard recreational fires. For more information, check with local authorities.
- Place the coals from your grill in a metal can with a lid once they have cooled.
- Clean your grill after each use. This will remove grease that can start a fire.
Do not use spirit or petrol for lightning or re-lightning!
Before First Use
Risk of suffocation!
Keep any packaging materials away from children and pets – these materials are
a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
- Remove all the packing materials. Do not use any sharp tools to avoid scratching the product.
- Check the product for transport damages.
- The product shall be heated up and the charcoal kept red hot for at least 30 minutes prior to the first cooking. This is to burn any production residues.
Use
Risk of burns!
- All parts of the product become hot during use. Always wear heat resistant protective gloves and use a poker tool when handling charcoal. Always use the handle when lifting the hood.
- The ash tray (K) may get very hot after use. Allow the part to cool down completely before removing to avoid injury.
Risk of burns!
Remove ash tray (K) when moving the product to avoid damage from falling.
Cooking

Distribute the glowing charcoal evenly on the coal grate (5).

Place the cooking grate (R) on the fire
bowl (2) and preheat for few minutes. -
Start cooking when the charcoal is covered with a fine layer of ash and temperature reading (C) reachces desired heat level.
Adjusting the temperature
Open and close the air vent (E) to increase or decrease the cooking temperature as required.
NOTICE Air vent (E) control the grill temperature by adjusting the amount of oxygen that feeds the fire.

Preserving the glow
- Remove the cooking grate (R).
- Add new charcoal and mix it well with the already glowing ones.
- Wait until the charcoal is covered with a fine layer of ash again before resuming cooking.
Extinguishing fire
Risk of burns!
Do not use water to extinguish the fire. Water does not mix with foods oil.
Water might sink right through to the bottom of the fire bowl and evaporate
instantly, spreading flaming oil everywhere.
- Shut the air vent (E).
- Allow fire to burn itself out or douse with sand.
- Place the coals from your grill in a metal can with a lid once they have cooled.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Risk of burns!
The product is still hot after use.
Do not touch it with bare hands. Let the product cool down for 30 minutes
before cleaning.
Cleaning
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
- To clean, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth. Use a mild dish washing detergent or baking soda.
- For stubborn surfaces, use a citrus based degreaser and a nylon scrubbing brush.
- Remove tar deposit with a chimney cleaning product.
- After cleaning, rinse the product with clean water and let it dry.
Maintenance
NOTICE This product is made to resist premature rusting. However, eventually, all metals will corrode. It is a normal phenomenon that the paint of the fire pit peels off after the product is used several times. Some environments promote premature rusting of metals. For best results, at the first sign of rust or other corrosion, use an emery cloth, metal-grade sandpaper or a rotary tool to buff away the blemish and touch up the spot with rust-resistant spray paint available at local hardware stores.
Check the components regularly to make sure all screws and bolts are tightened.
Storage
- Store assembled in a location away from children and pets.
- If you store the product outdoors ,use a protective cover (not included) to protect it from the elements.
