Product Information

The A330D is a wired headset with an inline controller that can be connected to a USB type A port or a mobile phone, laptop, or other devices via a 3.5 mm coaxial jack. It features a busy light LED ring, a microphone that can be muted, and volume control buttons. The headset can be used for answering and ending calls,
adjusting the volume, muting and unmuting calls, and enabling and disabling DND mode.

Standards Conformance

The A330D complies with the essential health, safety, and environmental requirements of all relevant European and UK directives. It also meets US and Canadian health, safety, and environmental standards. Unauthorized opening, changing, or modifying the device will cause the warranty to lapse and may also result in the loss of conformity. In case of malfunction contact authorized service personnel, your seller or Snom.

Disposal

This device is subject to European Directive 2012/19/EU and may not be disposed of with general household garbage.

Product Usage Instructions

To connect the headset, plug it into the inline controller. The logo on the 3.5 mm jack must face upward. Plug the jack all the way in until the three LEDs on the controller stop blinking. If you want to connect it to a mobile phone, laptop, or other devices, the jack may not go all the way in but protrude 1 to 2 mm.

When you receive a call, you will hear the voice prompt “incoming call” before the ringer, and the talk key symbol flashes. Press the talk key to answer the call and end the call by pressing it again.

To adjust the volume, use the volume control buttons on the inline controller. You can also mute and unmute a call by pressing the mute key. To enable and disable DND mode, hold down the busy light key for two seconds in idle mode. You can manually turn the busy light LED ring on the loudspeaker red by pressing the
busy light key on the inline controller. If you want to deactivate call status indication on the busy light LED ring, hold down the busy light key for two seconds in idle mode, and you will hear a key tone.

Connecting the headset

  1. To the inline controller. The logo on the 3.5 mm jack must face upward. Plug the jack all the way in until the three LEDs on the controller stop blinking.
  2. To a mobile phone ,laptop, or other devices. The logo on the 3.5 mm jack must face upward. The jack may not go all the way in but protrude 1 to 2 mm.

Answering and ending a call
When you get a call, you hear the voice prompt “incoming call” before ringer, and the talk key symbol flashes.

  • Tap to answer the call. The symbol turns steady green, the busy light on the headset’s body turns red, and you hear a key tone.
  • Tap again to end the call. The symbol turns off, and the busy light on the headset’s body turns green.

Adjusting the volume

  • Each time you press , you hear a beep. When the volume reaches the maximum level you hear a double beep.
  • Each time you press , you hear a beep. When the volume reaches the minimum level you hear a double beep.

Mute and unmute a call

  • When you are in a call, tap to mute your microphone. You hear the voice prompt “muted”, and the mute symbol on the key and the MIC indicator on the microphone boom turn on.
  • Tap again to unmute your mic. You hear the voice prompt “unmuted”, and the mute symbol on the key and the MIC indicator on the microphone boom turn off.

Enable and disable DND mode

  • When the headset is in idle status, long press the mute key for 2 seconds to enable DND mode. You hear a double beep, the ringer is turned off, and the following
  • LEDs turn red:
    • busylight LED ring on the loudspeaker,
    • mute indicator on the microphone boom,
    • busy light key on the inline controller.
  • Long press for 2 seconds again to exit DND mode. You hear a double beep, the ringer is turned back on, and the following LEDs turn green or off:
    • green: busy light LED ring on the loudspeaker
    • off: mute indicator on the microphone boom
    • off: busy light key on the  inline controller

Manually turning busy light LED ring on loudspeaker red

  • In idle mode, tap the busy light key to turn the LED of the busy light light ring on the loudspeaker red. You hear a key tone.
  • Tap again to turn the LED of the busy light light ring on the loudspeaker green. You hear a key tone.

Deactivate call status indication on busy light LED ring

  •  If you do not want the busy light light LED ring on the loudspeaker to show your call status, press the busy light.
  • key for 2 seconds in idle mode to deactivate the LEDs. You hear a key tone.
  • Press again for 2 seconds to activate the LEDs. You hear a key tone.
