PRODUCT INFORMATION

The Rustic Chiminea with Rain Cap is a beautiful addition to any outdoor space. Its alloy steel construction creates a rust patina finish over time, giving it a unique look that will continue to change with exposure to water and oxygen. The chiminea comes with a rain cap to protect it from the elements and extend its lifespan.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Inspect packaging to ensure all parts are accounted for before disposing of packing materials.
  2. Assemble on a soft, clean surface to avoid scratching or damaging the finish.
  3. Place Main Body (A) upside down. Secure Leg (D) to the inside of the main body using two Bolts (E). Repeat to secure the remaining two legs.
  4. Flip unit upright and place Flue Base (B) onto the main body. Align the mounting holes and secure using three Bolts (E).
  5. Place Flue (C) onto the flue base and firmly secure using three Bolts (E).
Because rust may flake away from the unit during assembly, use a drop cloth to avoid staining and keep children away as it contains small parts that can be swallowed.

Caring for Your Chiminea

To maintain the appearance of your rustic chiminea, cover and store it in a dry location when not in use. If you only cover the chiminea, make sure it is not exposed to water. Let fires die down gradually and avoid using water to put out a fire as this may cause the metal to crack due to the sudden drop in temperature.

The manufacturer and seller expressly disclaim any and all liability from personal injury, property damage, or loss resulting from the incorrect attachment, improper use, inadequate maintenance, or neglect of this product. NOTE: The rust patina finish is a result of the alloy steel being exposed to water and oxygen. The color may continue to change over
time. Help limit color change and further oxidization by covering or storing the fire pit when not in use. Because rust will flake away from the unit, use a drop cloth during assembly. The rust flakes may cause staining, especially if it comes in contact with water; avoid contact with clothing.

  • Clean Regularly & Safely: Cleaning after each use is recommended. Never allow ash to accumulate in the body or the flue. Make sure the fire has completely died down and the metal is completely cool before removing ashes and cleaning the flue.
  • Avoid Accelerants & Plastic: Never use accelerants to start a fire; this is dangerous and can damage your chiminea. Never use plastic materials in or near this unit. Burning plastic releases toxic fumes & the residue is very difficult to remove from the unit.
