INSTALLATION

NOTE: Before installation, check the product is not damaged.

PLACEMENT AND STORAGE conditions

Install the UPS in a protected area where it is free from excessive dust and has adequate airflow. Place the no break away from other units at least 20 cm to avoid interference. DO NOT operate the any break where the temperature and humidity are very high.

CONNECTION TO THE ELECTRICAL LIGHT

Plug the AC input power cord into the wall outlet. For best results, it is suggested to charge the battery for at least 6 hours.

ON/OFF

Turn on the UPS unit by pressing the on/off switch (2).
Turn off the UPS unit by pressing the on/off switch (2) again.

IMPORTANT SECURITY WARNING

CAUTION! To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock, install the UPS in a temperature and humidity Controlled indoor area, free from conductive Contaminants.
CAUTION! To reduce the risk of overheating the UPS do not cOver the vents of the UPS and avoid exposing the unit to direct sunlight or installing the unit near heat-emitting appliances such as heaters.
CAUTION! Do not connect non-computer-related items such as medical equipment, life support equipment, microwave ovens, or vacuum cleaners to the UPS.
CAUTION! Do not connect the input of the UPS to its own output.
CAUTION! Do not allow liquids or any foreign objects to enter the connector. Do not place beverages or any other container containing liquid on or near the unit.
CAUTION! In an emergency, please press the OFF button and unplug the power cord from the AC power source to properly shut down the UPS.
CAUTION! Do not connect a power strip or surge suppressor to the UPS.
CAUTION! With the installation of this equipment, it must be avoided that the sum of the leakage current from the UPS to the connected consumer exceeds 3.5 mA.
Attention! Dangerous due to electric shock. Also, with this unit disconnected from the mains, the dangerous voltage can still be accessed through the battery Supply. Therefore, the battery supply must b disconnected and isolated first when maintenance or service work is required inside the UPS.
CAUTION! Battery maintenance must be performed or supervised by qualified personnel. knowledge of batteries and the necessary precautions. Keep unauthorized personnel away from batteries.
CAUTION! When you replace the batteries, use the same number and type of batteries.
CAUTION! The internal battery voltage is 12 VDC. 6-cell sealed lead-acid battery.
CAUTION! Do not throw batteries into fire. The battery may explode. Do not open or mutilate the battery or batteries. The released electrolyte is harmful to skin and eyes.
CAUTION! Unplug the UPS before cleaning and do not use liquid or spray detergent.
CAUTION! A battery can present a risk of electric shock and high short- circuit current. The following precaution should be observed before replacing batteries:

  1. Remove watches, rings or other metallic objects.
  2. Use tools with insulated handles.
  3. Wear rubber gloves and boots.
  4. Do not place tools or metal parts on top of the batteries.
  5. Disconnect the charging source before connecting or disconnecting the batteries terminal
    *The backup time will depend on the level that the equipment has in reserve and the accumulated electric charge in watts connected.

Limited product warranty

Vorago equipment and/ or accessories are covered by a limited warranty for the time indicated in the annexed validity table, counting from the date of acquisition, against any manufacturing and operation defect, provided they have been used under normal conditions of usee during the warranty period and for which it was manufactured. Vorago warranty the buyer the absence of anomalies regarding the materials.

Responsibilities

Except in situations of force majeure or fortuitous events, the repair time in no case will be greater than 30 calendar days from the date of receiving of the equipment in Vorago.

Exclusions
This warranty is has valid in the following cases:

  • When the product had been used in conditions other than normal.
  • When the product has not been operated in accordance with the instructions for use.
  • When the product has been altered or repaired by unauthorized persons by Vorago.

Vorago does not offer any other express warranty for this product. To make the warranty valid, as well as the acquisition of parts, components, consumables and accessories.
