SAFETY MEASURES AND OPERATION RECOMMENDATIONS

Read the operation manual carefully before using the fan; after reading, keep it for future reference.

  • Use the unit for its intended purpose only, as it is stated in this manual.

  • Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to the user’s property, which is not covered by a warranty.
    ATTENTION! A lithium battery is used in the remote control. To avoid danger, do not allow children to play with the battery. If your child swallowed a battery, immediately see your doctor.

  • Make sure that the operating voltage of the unit indicated on the label corresponds to your home mains voltage.

  • Place the fan vertically on a flat dry moisture- and heat-resistant surface, do not place it horizontally and do not turn it over.

  • Do not place the fan on soft surfaces, such as carpets with high pile, sofas or beds.

  • Do not place the fan near curtains and do not direct it to house plants.

  • Do not use the fan in a limited space, for example, in built-in cabinets or wall niches.

  • It is not recommended to stay in the zone of the air flow from the fan for a long period of time, especially for children and the elderly.

  • Do not use the power cord as a carrying handle for the fan.

  • Do not wind the power cord around the fan body.

  • Provide that the power cord does not contact with hot surfaces and sharp furniture edges.

  • Protect the unit from impacts, falling, vibrations and other mechanical stress.

  • Avoid blocking the air inlet grid of the fan with foreign objects, do not cover the unit during the operation.

  • Do not use the unit in places where inflammable liquids are used or aerosols are sprayed, do not use the unit in the places where such liquids are stored.

  • Do not use the unit near heating appliances, heat sources or open flame.

  • Do not use the unit outdoors, in bathrooms or in places with high humidity.

  • Do not use the unit in proximity to the kitchen sink, near swimming pools or other containers filled with water.

  • If the unit is dropped into water, unplug it immediately, and only then you can take the unit out of water. Apply to the authorized service center for testing or repairing the unit.

  • Do not touch the unit body, the power cord and the power plug with wet hands.

  • It is not recommended to use the unit during lightning storms.

  • Do not block the fan grids and do not insert foreign objects onto them.

  • Never leave the unit connected to the mains unattended.

  • Unplug the unit after usage or before cleaning.

  • Switch the fan off and unplug the power cord plug from the main socket.

  • When unplugging the unit, hold the power plug and carefully remove it from the mains socket, do not pull the power cord, as this can lead to its damage or cause a short circuit.

  • Do not immerse the unit into water or any other liquids.

  • If water droplets fall on the fan body, switch it off and disconnect the power plug from the mains before touching the unit, then wipe the fan body with a dry cloth.

  • For a child, safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags used as packaging unattended.
    ATTENTION! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. The danger of suffocation!

  • The unit is not intended for use by children.

  • Do not leave children unattended to prevent them from using the device as a toy.

  • Do not allow children to touch the operating surface, the unit body, the power cord or the power plug during the operation of the unit.

  • I’ve especially careful if children or disabled persons are near the operating unit.

  • During the unit operation and breaks between
    operation cycles, place the unit out of reach of children.
    • The device is not intended to be used by people (including children) with physical, sensory,  psychological, or mental disabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge if they are not under the supervision of or have not been instructed on the usage of the device by the person responsible for their safety.
    • From time to time check the power cord integrity.
    • If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, maintenance service or similar qualified personnel to avoid danger.
    • Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected, and after the unit was dropped, unplug it and apply to the service center.
    • To avoid damages, transport the unit in the original package.
    • Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.

THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY, DO NOT USE THE UNIT FOR COMMERCIAL OR LABORATORY PURPOSES.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After the unit’s transportation or storage at negative temperature, unpack it and wait for at least 3 hours before using it.

  • Unpack the unit and remove all the packaging materials.
  • Keep the original package.
  • Read the safety measures and operating recommendations.
  • Check the delivery set.
  • Examine the unit for damages, in case of damage do not plug it into the mains.
  • Make sure that specified specifications of power supply voltage of the unit correspond to the specifications of your mains.
  • Wipe the fan body with a slightly damp cloth and then wipe it dry.

ASSEMBLING THE FAN

  • The fan is delivered with a disassembled base (1). Do not switch the fan on without the base (1).
  • Use a crosshead or flat tip screwdriver (not supplied) to assemble the base (1).
  • Position the fan body (2) horizontally.
  • Assemble the Base (1): join the two halves of the Base (1) (fig. 1) and secure them using 4 screws.
  • Using the 4 screws, attach Base (1) to the lower part of the body (2) (fig. 2).
  • Place the fan vertically on the base (1).

Remote control (23)
ATTENTION! A lithium battery is used in the remote control. To avoid danger, do not allow children to play with the battery. If your child has swallowed a battery, immediately see a doctor. Battery installation/replacing (pic. 3)

  • Press on the clamp and remove the battery holder (21) from the remote
  • control (22) body, insert a CR2025 battery (supplied with the unit) into the holder, strictly following the polarity.
  • Install the battery holder (21) into the remote control (22).

Notes:

  • if there is an isolation insert in the battery holder (21), remove the insert;
  • replace the battery in time;
  • do not recharge the lithium battery;
  • remove the battery if you are not planning to use the unit for a long time;
  • remove the used battery from the remote control (22) and dispose of it.
  • When you use the remote control, direct it to the front part of the fan body (2).
  • The distance between the remote control and the fan should not exceed 5 m, the coverage angle should be up to 30 degrees.
  • Avoid exposing the receiver to direct sunlight, otherwise false activation of control commands is possible.

USING THE FAN

  • Use the handle (5) to carry the fan.
  • Place the fan base (1) on a flat, dry, and steady surface.
  • Do not place the fan on soft surfaces, such as carpets with high piles, sofas or beds.
  • Insert the Power Cable (7) plug into the mains, you will hear a sound signal, the Power Indicator (9) « » and the Room Temperature Indicator (14) « » will turn on, and numeric indication of the room temperature will appear on the Display (13).

Notes:

  • the buttons on the control panel (4) are sensory, you just need to touch the button to switch the necessary operation mode on;

  • each pressing of buttons on the control panel (4) or on the remote control (22) is accompanied with a sound signal;

  • if no buttons have been pressed, in 10 minutes the Display (13) backlight will turn off, as well asthe Room Temperature Indicator (14) « », the Current Mode Indicators (11 or 16), and the Power Indicator (9) « »

  • To turn the fan on, press the « » button (8) on the Control Panel (4) or the « » button (18) on the Remote Control (22), you will hear a sound signal and the fan will turn on at the medium airflow speed (13); the digital «2» symbol will turn on.

  • After a while, the numeric indication of the room temperature will appear on the Display (13).
    Note: the temperature digital indications (18) may be slightly different from the readings of another thermometer.

  • Pressing the button (15) « » on the control panel (4) or the button (19) « » on the remote control (22) you can select the airflow speed, the symbols «1-2-3» will appear on the display (13).

  • To turn on the fan, press the « » button (8) on the Control Panel (4) and the « » button (18) on the Remote Control (22), the fan will turn on, the (9) « » and (14) « » indicators will turn on and the numeric indication of the room temperature will appear on the Display (13).

Fan operation time timer

  • To set the operating time of the fan, press the « »  button (12) on the Control Panel (4) or the « » button(20) on the Remote Control (22) button you will hear a sound signal, the « » indicator (11) will turn on, and the Timer operation time will appear on the Display (13) as flickering numeric symbols «00».
  • Press again the buttons (12 or 20) to set the timer operation time. Timer operation time can be set from 1 hour to 12 hours with 1 hour setting step.
  • To turn off the Timer press the button (12 or 20) repeatedly until the Display (13) shows numeric indication with the value of «00».

Switching the fan body oscillation on/off

  • To turn the oscillation mode on, press the « » button (17) on the Control Panel (4) or the «» button (23) on the Remote Control (22), the « » indicator (16) will turn on, to turn off the oscillation mode, press the « » button (17) on the Control Panel (4) or the « » button (23) on the Remote Control (22), the « » indicator (16) will turn off.

The display backlight on/off button

  • To turn off the Display backlight, press the «  » button (10) on the Control Panel (4) or the « »button (24) on the Remote Control (22), the Display (13) and Indicators (9, 11, 14, 16) backlight will turn off. To turn the Display (13) and the operation modes indicators backlight off, press the « » button (10) onthe Control Panel (4) or the « » button (24) on the Remote Control (22), the Display (13) and indicators backlight will turn on.
    Note: if no actions are taken for 10 minutes, the Display (13) and the operation modes indicators will turn off automatically.

  • To turn off the fan, press the « » button (8) on the control Panel (4) or the « » button (18) on the remote Control (22) and remove the Power Cable (7) plug from the mains.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning the fan, switch it off (7) and unplug it.
  • Wipe the fan body with a slightly damp cloth and then wipe it dry.
  • Do not use liquid detergents, abrasive cleaners and any solvents to clean the fan (2).
  • To avoid the risk of electric shock provide that no water or other liquid gets into the fan body.
  • You can use a vacuum cleaner with an appropriate attachment to clean the Air-Inlet Grill (6) and the Outgoing Airflow Grill (3).

STORAGE

  • After cleaning put the fan away for storage in a dry cool place away from children and disabled persons.
  • Before using the fan next time, it is recommended to check the unit operability and integrity of the power cord isolation and the power cord plug.

The waste generated during the disposal of the unit is subject to mandatory collection and consequent disposal in the prescribed manner.  For further information about recycling of this product apply to a local municipal administration, a disposal service or to the shop where you purchased this product.

The manufacturer reserves the right to change the appearance, design, and specifications not affecting the general operating principles of the unit, without prior notice.  The unit operating life is 3 yearsThe manufacturing date is specified in the serial number. In case of any malfunctions promptly apply to the authorized service center.
