LIVEX LIGHTING 2328101 Calinda Brushed Nickel Six Light Island Chandelier

Product Information

The product is a fixture that needs to be assembled and installed on a junction box. It comes with a canopy, pipes, coupling, column nuts, mounting plate, and electrical wires. The fixture requires light bulbs (not included) and must be connected to a power source through the junction box. The installation instructions are provided in the user manual.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before starting the installation process, shut off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse.
  2. Remove the old fixture and all hardware from the junction box.
  3. Unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts. Be careful not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.
  4. Determine the desired hanging height and slide the electrical wires through the pipes and coupling. Turn the pipes clockwise until tight and raise the canopy onto the end of the coupling, holding the coupling’s ring and turning it with the bottom pipe thread of the canopy until tight.
  5. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig.2, making sure that all wire nuts are secured. If your outlet has a ground wire, connect the fixture ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate with the green screw provided. After the wires are connected, tuck them carefully inside the junction box.
  6. Raise the fixture body onto the junction box, align the mounting screws with mounting holes in the canopy, and lock it securely with the column nuts.
  7. Install light bulbs (not included) in accordance with the fixture’s specifications. Do not exceed the specified wattage.
  8. After installation is complete, turn on the power at the circuit breaker or fuse and test the fixture.

Note:
These instructions are a general guide. Always refer to the user manual provided with the product for specific instructions and warnings.

fig- \(1\)

  1. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker box. Remove old fixture and all hardware from Junction Box.
  2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area. Take care not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.
  3. Determine the desired hanging height. Slide the electrical wires through the pipe(F)/(E)/(D) and coupling(C), then by turning the pipes clockwise until tight. Raise the canopy(A) onto the end of coupling(C), holding the coupling’s ring and turning it with the bottom pipe thread of the canopy(A) until tight.
  4. By measuring, determine the correct distance hole in the mounting plate, then drilled two holes(by measuring distance hole) in the ceiling at the junction box of the side; raise the plastic anchor and insert the hole. Thread the two mounting screws about 3/8″ into the pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate, spaced about the same distance apart as the holes in the fixture canopy(A). Attach the mounting plate to the junction box with two junction box screws and two wood screws, and tighten the screws securely with a screwdriver. The side of the mounting plate marked “GND” must face out. The junction box is not included.
  5. While holding the fixture body towards the ceiling, connect the electrical wires as Shown in Fig.2, making sure that all wire nuts are secured. You may have to wrap the connections with electrical tape. If your outlet has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the Mounting plate with the green screw provided. After the wires are connected, tuck them carefully inside the Junction Box.
  6. Raise the fixture body onto the Junction box, aligning the mounting screws with the mounting hole in the canopy and lock it securely with the column nuts(B).
  7. Install the light bulbs(Not included) in accordance with the fixture’s specifications.

NOTE: DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE!

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
