Adjustment: Use the Allen key provided to adjust the weight capacity. Twist the Allen key in a clockwise direction for more weight; a counterclockwise direction for less weight.

Loading: 1~3 kg

  • Product loading capacities are based on the monitors’ center of gravity of less than 3cm trom the end of the VESA interface.
  • Loading capacity could be reduced if the monitor size of greater than 15 inches or the depth of greater than 5.5cm.
  • All product specifications in catalogs are subject to change without notice.

ADJUSTING UNIVERSAL JOINT TENSION

When assembling the arm with monitors of different weights, you may find that the tension of the universal joint needs to be adjusted to ease movement or to maintain the desired monitor position.

If so, adjust as follows:

  1. Remove the plastic universal joint cover.

  2. Find the nylon nut (not the screw head) and use the provided wrench to adjust the tension. Fix the screw head with a wrench during adjustment.

  3. Use one hand to support the monitor and adjust the tension of the universal joint:
    Clockwise: more tension
    Counterclockwise: less tension

  4. When the desired tension is achieved, replace the plastic covers.

Caution

  • Support the monitor during the adjustment procedure.
  • Do not disassemble the universal joint.

SAFETY NOTES

  • Once assembled do not disassemble.
  • Make sure that mounting screws are suitable for the vertical surface and adequate to hold the weight of the arm and the monitor.
  • Support the monitor and arm throughout assembly and mounting.
  • Keep small parts out of reach from children.

Make sure that the vertical surface is substantial to hold the weight of the arm and the monitor.

Only use LCD/ TFT monitors compliant with VESA 75×75 mm or 100×100 mm.

FAQ’s

What distinguishes an arm from a monitor stand?

It takes up a lot of room on the back of your desk to mount monitors without utilizing arms, especially if you’re using many monitors. While your monitors are positioned securely above your workstation, having monitor arms allows you to make use of the space on the back of your desk.

Do monitor mounts reduce clutter?

A monitor arm, as opposed to the stand that most monitors ship with, gives you the flexibility to place your screen precisely where you want it for comfort and optimal ergonomics. Also, it might help your workstation look more organized and save up space on your desk.

What benefits does the monitor stand offer?

Using monitor stands, you may more easily manage the screen’s angle and distance from your eyes as well as alter the height of the display to your liking. You will be in a position that you have designed for your comfort and convenience, which will also aid your neck, shoulders, and back.

The size of every monitor mount is the same.

Be cautious to take into account these questions before purchasing because there are many different possibilities for monitor arms and they are not “one size fits all.” You can free up a critical workspace with the Freedom Arm®, a stylish articulating monitor arm that mounts to any typical desk (or wall) with ease.

What position should the monitor mount be in?

The monitor height should be adjusted such that the top of the screen is at, or just below, eye level. When seeing the center of the screen, your eyes should be somewhat downward. Place the monitor so that it is at least 20 inches (51 cm) from your eyes, or at arm’s length.

Any monitor stands out there the same?

The majority of monitor stands on the market now adhere to VESA standards, therefore the stand will work with most monitors. You should do your research and make extra sure your monitor and the stand you’re buying are compatible because some monitors and stands have various VESA patterns.

Are pads required for monitor stands?

Yes. It is best to take all reasonable steps to ensure that your blend is represented as accurately as possible. Monitor isolation pads are a very easy and inexpensive technique to make sure your speakers are performing at their optimum.

What monitor mounts are most frequently used?

Desk clamps and grommet mounts are the most common types of monitor arm attachments, followed by wall and ceiling mounts.

Any monitor can be mounted on a monitor stand, right?

Yes, you can put the majority of monitors on a monitor arm. On the back of the monitor, there are the usual VESA hole patterns of 75 x 75 mm or 100 x 100 mm for attaching to a monitor arm.

What does the monitor mount serve?

A monitor arm is a support arm that holds up a computer monitor; it is also referred to as a monitor mount or monitor bracket. It is usually secured with a clamp to the back of your desk.

How can you tell whether a monitor will fit on a mount?

The majority of contemporary flat-panel TVs and monitors are created with VESA compliance in mind. Simply look at the back to see if your computer monitor conforms to VESA requirements. You should notice the typical four-hole screw pattern on the back of your display if it complies.

How much room is required by a monitor mount?

But, you will need between two and six inches of room behind the desk to allow for the arm behind the screen if you have a fully articulating monitor arm and wish to move it away from you. You won’t have as much room to maneuver if you work in a small area.
