HOW TO DRIVE

DRIVE ON LAND AND WATER!
OPERATING RANGE: 30 m (100 ft) ON LAND; 15 m (50 ft) ON WATER

CHECKLIST
  • Is the charge port door closed properly?
  • Is the USB port covered?
  • Are the batteries fully charged?
  • Is the remote controller paired with the vehicle?
CONTROLS

The controls are the same on land and on water. Drive on land, and then drive straight into water and keep going!

√ SKILL CHECK!

Remember, turning directions are flipped on the remote controller when you are driving backward!

Controls

UPSIDE DOWN DRIVING

Your vehicle can “swim” upside down when it’s in water! Turn your vehicle over when it is on water and keep driving!

Upside Down Driving

TIPS

  • Only drive the vehicle in shallow pools and ponds.
  • Stay within the vehicle’s operating range. When the vehicle goes beyond the operating range, the remote controller will begin flashing green, and you will slowly lose control. Drive the vehicle back within the operating range or move closer until the remote controller LED returns to solid green.
  • The operating range is shortened when driving upside down on water.

TIPS & HINTS – FOR ALL DRIVING ENVIRONMENTS

  1. When your vehicle starts to lose power, it may lose functions or performance. It’s time for a recharge. For best stunt performance, always start with a fully-charged battery. Your vehicle’s running time may change depending on driving style and driving environment.
  2. Radio interference can make your vehicle run badly. Interference can be caused by other RC vehicles running on the same frequency, electrical wires, large buildings, CB radios, or other wireless gear. Try to stay away from these!
  3. Point your remote controller up, and not down toward your vehicle. If your vehicle gets too far away, it won’t work properly.
  4. Don’t store your vehicle near heat or in direct sunlight. Always turn switches OFF and remove all batteries from remote controller before storage.
  5. After each use, remove any water, moisture, dirt, or mud from the vehicle with a clean, dry cloth. Make sure the vehicle is fully drained of water and allow the vehicle to air-dry completely after use.
  6. When exposed to an electrostatic source, the remote controller and/or the vehicle may malfunction. To resume normal operation of the remote controller, remove the batteries and reinstall them after 5 seconds. To resume normal operation of the vehicle, turn the power OFF for a few seconds, then turn it ON again.

TIPS & HINTS

PRO DRIVING TIPS
  • When driving on grass surfaces, avoid tall grass patches as they might tangle the wheels.
  • When driving in snow, turning performance may vary depending on the depth and wetness of the snow. For the best results, you may want to turn your vehicle by tapping or pulsing the remote controller controls.
  • Your vehicle is engineered to drive right from one kind of terrain to another. Of course, it may not be able to do that if the transition from one surface to another is too steep or difficult. In that situation, simply pick up the vehicle and reposition it.
TIPS & HINTS
  1. Operate your vehicle only in calm, clear water. Shallow ends of swimming pools and shallow ponds are recommended. Avoid deep water.
  2. After a few minutes of water operation, make sure the vehicle is still close to the water’s edge. That way, your vehicle will be able to return safely using its own power.
  3. Do not expose the remote controller to water. If the remote controller is accidentally exposed to water, remove the batteries and allow the remote controller to air-dry completely. Replace with fresh batteries before playing again.
  4. Beware of swimmers and don’t get too close to the water’s edge when operating the vehicle.

SAFETY TIPS

  • Play safely! Do not drive the vehicle in the street!
  • DO NOT pick up the vehicle while in motion.
  • Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from the wheels while the vehicle is switched ON.
  • Adult supervision is recommended when this vehicle is being operated.
  • To avoid accidental operation, remove all batteries from the remote controller when not in use and switch the vehicle OFF before storage.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  • Do not recharge battery if it is hot. Allow it to cool before recharging.
  • Do not recharge a battery pack that shows leakage or corrosion.
  • Do not disassemble the battery pack. The battery pack is a sealed rechargeable Li-ion battery pack.
  • If the battery pack and/or charging port are wet, thoroughly dry before charging.
  • Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • The Li-ion battery in the vehicle is not intended to be replaced or removed by consumers. Before disposal in the waste stream, the Li-ion battery must be removed by a qualified professional and disposed of separately according to local regulations on battery collection and recycling.
  • Do not dispose of the batteries in a fire.
