6555-FTL Install Track Kit for Ford Transit, Passenger Side
The 6555-FTL Install Track Kit is a shelving system designed for the Ford Transit van’s passenger side. The kit comes with two mounting tracks, four end caps, and a customer fastener kit that includes hex bolts, Plusnuts, flat washers, lock washers, and channel nuts. This shelving system provides a convenient storage solution for tools and other equipment.
Required Items
- Cordless Impact
- Cordless Drill
- 1/4 Plusnut Gun or Plusnut Tools
- 3/8 Drill Bit
- 7/16 Socket
- 13mm Socket
- Tape Measure
- Marker
Product Usage Instructions
Assembly
- Unpack components and verify all parts are present.
- Attach one end cap on each side of the mounting tracks.
Installation
- Install mounting tracks using Plusnuts and OEM threaded holes on the passenger side of the Ford Transit van.
- Attach wall brackets to the mounting tracks using channel nuts.
- Tighten the bolts that attach the wall bracket to the wall or wall kits first before the bolts that attach the wall bracket to the end panel.
- Ensure all bolts are tightened after installation is completed.

ASSEMBLY
SETUP
- Unpack components; compare with the bill of materials.
- Verify all parts are present.
- Fastener kits.
- FOR SHELVING INSTALL
INSTALLATION
MOUNTING TARCK INSTALLATION
- Attach one end cap on each side of the mounting tracks.
- Place the mounting tracks in the van, then mark the holes that need to the used to van.
- Drill the mark, then attach plusnut to the van.
- Install the mounting track after attaching the plusnut.

NEW SHELVING INSTALLATION W/ INSTALL TRACK KIT
- Aligned the wall brackets to the wall mounting track kits, then install the wall brackets to the wall mounting track kits using channel nuts.
NOTE: Tightened the bolts that used to attached the wall bracket to the wall or wall kits 1st before the bolts that used to attached the wall bracket to the end panel.
IMPORTANT: After installation is completed, ensure all bolts are tightened.
