SAFETY INFORMATION

**** Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference. The manufacturer declines any liability for damage caused by improper use or failure to follow the instructions in this manual. Improper use or non-compliance with the instructions will void the warranty.

  1. This appliance is intended for use by children 8 years of age and older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe manner and understand the potential hazards.

  2. Children must not play with the device.

  3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are 8 years old and under supervision.

  4. Children under the age of 8 must be kept out of the reach of the appliance and its power supply.

  5. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a dangerous situation.
    **ATTENTION:** HOT SURFACE! When the appliance is in operation, the temperature of surrounding surfaces may be higher. Do not touch the heated surface. Otherwise, burns may occur. Use the handle to remove and carry heated accessories.

  6. To prevent electric shock, do not immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug of the power cord in water or any other liquid.

  7. This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Do not use it outdoors.

  8. The appliance is not designed for operation using an external timer or remote control.

  9. Always clean parts of the appliance that come into contact with food according to the instructions in this manual.

  10. The appliance is used for cooking foods. Do not use it for any purpose other than that for which it is intended.

  11. Before connecting the appliance to power supply, make sure that the voltage indicated on the type plate corresponds to the voltage in the power outlet. Only connect the appliance to a properly grounded electrical outlet. We recommend connecting the appliance to a separate electrical circuit.

  12. Always place the appliance on a flat, clean, dry and solid surface at a sufficient distance from the electrical outlet. Never place it on unstable surfaces, window sills or the sink drip tray. Do not place the appliance on or near an electric or gas stove, hot plate. Do not place the appliance on a surface covered with a cloth or other flammable material. Make sure that the surface on which the appliance is placed is heat-resistant.

  13. Make sure that the power cord does not hang over the edge of the table or countertop or touch a hot or heated surface. Always route the power cord so that it is not likely to be tripped over or caught. Do not bend the power cord excessively or place heavy objects on it.

  14. Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.

  15. Always use only the accessories supplied with the appliance.

  16. Do not use the appliance near flammable materials such as curtains, drapes, dish towels, etc. While the appliance is in operation, a free space of at least 20 cm must be left on all sides to ensure sufficient air circulation.

  17. Do not place any objects on the appliance or cover the ventilation openings.

  18. Never put packaged food or food in storage bowls, etc. in the pan or on the grill pan.

  19. Never use the appliance without the outer container and fry pot properly inserted.

  20. Always place food on the grill pan. Never prepare food only in the outer container.

  21. Do not put your hands or fingers inside the appliance while it is in operation.

  22. Always use handles and protective kitchen gloves when handling accessories. Always place the outer pan or fry pot on heat-resistant surfaces.

  23. Do not expose the accessories to extreme temperatures.

  24. Take extra care when removing the inner outer pan from the appliance to avoid scalding from the hot steam that is released from the food.

  25. If food inside the appliance catches fire, switch it off immediately and unplug it. Wait until the smoke disappears from the vents, and then remove the accessories.

  26. Do not cook foods with high fat content in the appliance.

  27. Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation.

  28. Never use force to turn the thermostat or timer. Always rotate them only within the range shown on the appliance.

  29. Do not use the appliance in continuous operation for more than 60 minutes (maximum operating time of the appliance). Otherwise there is a risk of damage to the appliance.

  30. Always switch off and unplug the appliance when not in use, leaving it unattended, before assembling, disassembling, moving or cleaning. Always allow the appliance to cool down before assembling, disassembling, moving and cleaning it.

  31. Unplug the appliance by pulling on the plug, not the power cord. Failure to do so may damage the power cord or outlet.

  32. Do not modify, disassemble or repair the appliance. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock. If the appliance, the power cord or its plug are damaged or shows signs of damage, stop using it and contact an authorized service center.

  33. Before cleaning and storing, make sure that the appliance and its accessories have cooled down completely.

USE OF THE APPLIANCE

Before first use
Remove the fryer from the packaging. Before disposing of the packaging, be sure to remove all components. Check the fryer and accessories for damage. Wipe the outside of the fryer with a soft sponge dampened in warm water. Wipe dry with a clean cloth. Remove the outer pan and then the grill pan. Wash both parts in warm water with a little kitchen detergent and rinse with clean water. Wipe dry and put back in the fryer.
Warning: Always make sure that the outer pan and grill pan are clean and dry before placing them in the fryer.

Use

  1. Place the fryer on a dry, clean and solid surface. Ensure sufficient air circulation. Leave a space of at least 20 cm on all sides and at the top.

  2. Make sure the fryer is properly assembled.
    Warning: Never switch on the fryer without the outer pan and grill pan properly inserted.

  3. Unwind the power cord and insert the plug of the power cord into a power outlet. The power light turns red.

  4. The preheating process will start automatically and the heating light will turn green. Once it goes off, the fryer is ready for use. The preheating time is usually 5 minutes. Note: During the first use, you may notice a faint smoke and a slight odor coming from the fryer. This is normal and there is no need to worry. The smoke and odor will disappear.

  5. Carefully remove the outer pan and place the food you want to process on the grill pan.
    Warning: Always use handles and protective kitchen gloves when handling the outer pan or grill pan. Both the outer pan and the grill pan become hot during use and can cause severe burns if mishandled. Always prepare food on the grill pan.

  6. Put them back in the fryer.

  7. Use the controller to set the desired temperature. Turn clockwise to increase the temperature, turn counterclockwise to decrease the temperature. You can set the temperature from 0 °C to 200 °C.

  8. Use the timer to set the desired cooking time. Turning clockwise increases the cooking time, turning it counterclockwise shortens the cooking time. You can set the cooking time from 0 to 60 minutes.

  9. Once the cooking process is complete, an audible alert will sound and you will be able to remove the ready food. Carefully remove the outer pan and grill pan.

  10. Make sure that the temperature control knob and the timer are set to 0 and unplug the power cable from the outlet.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning or any maintenance, always switch off the appliance, unplug the power cord from the outlet and allow it to cool down completely.
Warning:
Never immerse the fryer, power cord or power cord plug in water or any other liquid. Wipe the outside of the fryer with a soft sponge dampened in warm water. Wipe dry with a clean cloth. Wipe the inside of the fryer with a slightly damp cloth after removing the outer pan. Wipe dry with a clean cloth. Remove the outer pan and then the grill pan. Wash both parts in warm water with a little kitchen detergent and rinse with clean water. Wipe dry and put back in the fryer. If food is burnt on the grill pan, pour warm water into the outer pan and add a little kitchen detergent. Put the grill pan in the water and let it stand. Then wash and rinse.
Warning:
Do not use plastic or metal scrapers, harsh cleaners, chemicals, petrol, solvents or other similar substances to clean any parts of the appliance. The surface finish could be seriously damaged. No part of the appliance is dishwasher safe. Storage Prior to storage, make sure that the fryer, outer pan and grill pan are cool, dry and clean. Put together the fryer and store it in a dry and well-ventilated place out of the reach of children or pets. Do not place any objects on the appliance.
