AV-21PX Operating Instructions
The AV-21PX is a television set that comes with a remote control unit (RM-C231) and front panel buttons. Here are the locations of the various buttons:

Product Locations of remote control buttons

1. DISPLAY button: used to display the current status of the TV
2. MENU buttons: used to access the TV’s menu system
3. LIVE SPATIAL button: used to enhance the sound quality of the TV
4. CHANNEL/ buttons: used to change channels on the TV
5. SOUND SYSTEM button: used to select the sound system for the TV
6. COLOUR SYSTEM button: used to select the color system for the TV
7. TV/VIDEO button: used to switch between TV and external video sources
8. Multi Sound button: used to select different sound modes for the TV only available on AV-21PS model,
9. PICTURE MODE button: used to select different picture modes for the TV
10. CHANNEL SCAN button: used to scan for available channels on the TV
11. # – RETURN + button: used to navigate menus and adjust settings on the TV
12. POWER button: used to turn the TV on and off
13. MUTING button: used to mute the sound on the TV
14. Number buttons: used to directly input channel numbers on the TV
15. Teletext buttons: used to access Teletext services on the TV only available on AV-21PS model,
16. OFF TIMER button: used to set a timer for the TV to turn off
17. ECO SENSOR button: used to enable or disable the TV’s eco sensor feature

Product Locations of front panel buttons and lamps

The AV-21PX also has buttons and lamps located on the front panel behind a door. Here are their locations:

• MENU, CHANNEL, VOLUME, TV/VIDEO, EXIT buttons: used to access menus and control the TV (see page 25 of the manual).
• ECO sensor: located next to the remote control sensor, used to detect the ambient lighting conditions and adjust the TV’s brightness accordingly (see page 15 of the manual).
• Remote control sensor: located in the center of the front panel, used to receive signals from the remote control unit.
• ECO lamp: located next to the eco sensor, lights up when the eco sensor feature is enabled (see page 20 of the manual).
• ON TIMER lamp: located next to the power button, lights up when the TV’s on timer feature is enabled (see page 22 of the manual).
• POWER lamp: located next to the power button, lights up when the TV is turned on (see pages 6, 13, and 14 of the manual).
• Main power button: located at the bottom of the front panel, used to turn the TV on and off (see pages 6 and 15 of the manual).

Product Usage Instructions

To use the AV-21PX, follow these steps:

1. Connect the TV to a power source and any external devices (such as a cable box or DVD player) using the appropriate cables.
2. Turn on the TV by pressing the POWER button on either the remote control or front panel.
3. To change channels, use either the CHANNEL/ buttons on the remote or front panel, or enter the channel number using the Number buttons on the remote.
4. To adjust the volume, use either the VOLUME buttons on the remote or the front panel.
5. To access the TV’s menu system, press the MENU button on either the remote or the front panel.
6. Use the arrow keys on the remote or front panel to navigate the menus, and press the OK or ENTER button to select options.
7. To adjust picture or sound settings, use the appropriate buttons on the remote (such as PICTURE MODE or SOUND SYSTEM).
8. To switch between TV and external video sources, press the TV/VIDEO button on either the remote or front panel.
9. To mute the sound, press the MUTING button on the remote.
10. To turn off the TV, press the POWER button on either the remote or the front panel.
