Thank you for choosing the Luxury Facial Steam-er by LANAFORM. The Luxury Facial Steamer emits both Hot Steam and Cool Mist, for a deep facial. Hot Steam is an ideal way to dilate the pores in your skin and deeply cleanses your face. It removes impurities the best way possible and hydrates your skin. Conversely, Cool Mist closes and reduces the pores after applying your facial, making your skin softer and clearer. Your refreshed, hydrat-ed skin will look younger and more radiant. By adding essential oils, tea or flowers to the aroma basket, you can create a moment of re-laxation courtesy of the pleasant scent and its various beneficial effects. For example, euca-lyptus oil is an excellent remedy for the com-mon cold! Last but not least, the accessory kit supplied with the Luxury Facial Steamer perfects your facial with instruments to deal with blackheads, acne and ingrown hairs, quickly, cleanly and with no redness. Its sleek design makes the Luxury Facial Steam-er easy to use at home. Please read all the instruc-tions before using your prod- uct, especially the basic safety instructions. Safety precautions

Read the following precau-tions carefully before using the Luxury Facial Steamer
Before you start using the Luxury Facial Steamer, read the safety in- structions carefully. Non-compli-ance with the instructions below is likely to cause personal inju-ry or damage to property. Keep these instructions for use and keep them available for all other users. If you pass on the device to anyone else, give them these operating instructions as well.

General
Only use the Luxury Facial Steam-er to treat the human face. The de-vice is designed solely for use as described in these instructions for use. Use the device only according to the instructions. The manufac-turer cannot be held responsible for damage caused by inappro-priate or improper use. This de-vice is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial or professional use in the med-ical sector. This device can be used by children aged 8 years and over and by those with re-duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions on how to use the device safely and they understand the risks in- volved. Children must not be al-lowed to play with the device. Chil-dren must not clean or maintain the device without supervision. Children must not be allowed to play with the device. Children are unaware of the dangers as- sociated with electrical devices. Ensure the device cannot be used by children without supervision. Do not use the device if you suf-fer from heart disease or a chron-ic or acute skin condition (wound or inflammation) (e.g. painful or painless inflammation, redness, rashes (such as allergies), burns, bruises, swelling or open/heal-ing wounds). If you are pregnant or have health problems, consult your doctor before using the de-vice. When you are using or have used the device, if you notice your skin getting worse, the onset of unwanted side effects or persis-tent reddening, stop using the device and consult your doctor.

Electric shock
As with any electrical device, the Luxury Facial Steamer must be used carefully and with caution to avoid electric shock. Check that your mains voltage is the same as the device’s. Only connect or disconnect the adapter from the power supply when the device is switched off. Each time you use it, check that the device and pow-er cable are intact. Do not use the device if it is damaged. Do not use the device during a thun-derstorm. If the device is faulty or breaks down, switch it off imme-diately. Disconnect the plug from the socket. Do not pull on the power cable or on the device to unplug it. Do not hold and never carry the device by its power ca-ble. Do not pinch the cable. Do not attempt to retrieve a device that has fallen into water. Unplug it from the mains immediately. En-sure the cable does not result in a tripping or strangulation hazard. Keep the device away from wa-ter. Ensure the power cable and mains adapter plug do not come into contact with water, steam or other liquids. Do not use the de-vice near water (e.g. near a bath, sink, etc.). Do not use the device when taking a bath, shower or while asleep. Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. Store the device in a safe place. Do not place the device on sur-faces sensitive to water!

Fire hazard
Any inappropriate use or use that does not comply with these op-erating instructions may cause a fire hazard. Do not use the de-vice in a covered area, under a cover or under cushions, for ex-ample. Do not use the device close to inflammable materials. Make sure that the air vents are not covered. Keep the power adapter away from hot surfac-es. Do not expose the device to high temperatures.

To operate the device
Remove jewellery from the neck and face before each use. 3 Do not bring the nozzle within 25 cm of your face during use, to prevent Hot Steam from causing burns. Close your eyes during use and protect heat-sensitive areas. Do not use the device for more than 15 minutes. Do not shake the de-vice during use. You could scald or burn yourself. Place the device on a stable, flat surface to avoid it tipping over. Do not operate the device if the water tank is empty or does not have enough liquid in it. When filling the tank, always use the spout supplied with the device; never submerge the de-vice in order to fill the tank. Nev-er use this appliance in a room in which aerosols (sprays) are used or where oxygen is administered.

Repairs
The device must not be opened. Only a specialist may repair electrical devices. Any inappro-priate repair may cause a signifi-cant risk to the user. Contact cus-tomer service or an authorised dealer for any repairs. Do not at- tempt maintenance on the Luxury Facial Steamer unless you are a qualified professional. Only qual-ified maintenance professionals are authorised to carry out in-ternal maintenance if necessary.

Unpacking

Please open the packaging care-fully before use. Check whether all the accessories are present and whether any components have been damaged during transport and follow the instal-lation and operating instructions in this manual. In the event of any damage or malfunction, please contact the reseller or Lanaform directly. In the event of any com-plaint, you will need the mod-el of the device, serial number, date of purchase, your contact details and your address.

Caution
Ensure that the packing film does not come into the hands of children! There could be a risk of suffocation!

Operating instructions

Do not use the device for more than 15 minutes per day.

Preparing and using the device

1. Place the device on a stable, flat, horizontal surface not sensitive to water. Do not hold the device in your hand during use.
2. Open the water filling inlet cap (3).
3. Optional: place flowers, tea or 2 or 3 drops of essential oils in the aroma basket (2). Be sure to dilute the drops of essential oils with water.
4. Check the water outlet cap (9) is on.
5. Fill the measuring cup (10) with distilled water (250 ml), then pour the water into the tank via the filling inlet (6). You can check the water level any time using the water level indicator (8). You may need to refill the device with water during use. The water level must NOT exceed the MAX line.
6. Close the water filling inlet cap (3).
7. Plug the power supply into a mains socket. Select “Hot Steam” using the slider (7) for 3 to 5 minutes, to dilate the pores, deeply cleanse and hydrate the skin. To produce Hot Steam, the water is preheated for about 90 seconds before the steam is passed to the outlet (1). 3 Keep your face at least 25 cm from the steam outlet (1).
8. Turn off the device treat blackheads, acne, dead skin and other imperfections in your skin using the accessory kit. Choose one or more of the accessories listed below to achieve the facial your skin needs:
   • Double-nozzle instrument with acne needle for popping spots and finishing loop
   • Double-nozzle instrument with two loops to pop blackheads and spots of differing diameters
   • Multi-purpose double-nozzle instrument with triangular loop and a rounded loop to cleanse blackheads, dead skin and other imperfections
   • Double-nozzle instrument with a large flat loop to treat imperfections and a finishing loop
   • Double-nozzle instrument with a smaller flat loop to treat imperfections and a finishing loop
9. You can then apply your moisturising cream, serum or lotion.
10. Select “Cool Mist” using the slider (7) for 3 to 5 minutes, to close the pores and reduce signs of ageing. To switch from “Hot Steam” to “Cool

To switch from “Hot Steam” to “Cool Mist” and vice versa, always switch back to the “Off” button between the two steams. The tools in the accessory kit are made of hypoallergenic stainless steel. It is important to clean them with rubbing alcohol before and after each use.

Only use distilled water in the device. Do not fill the water tank with tap water or other liquids.

Do not close the protective hood (4) while the device is in use!

Caution
Precipitation or sediment may form during prolonged usage. Ensure that escaping steam does not go over other electrical devices, furniture or walls.

After use

1. Turn off the device (slide the switch (7) to OFF) and unplug it.
2. Allow the device to cool.
3. Empty the aroma basket of aromatic substances (2).
4. Dry the device with a soft cloth if necessary.

Emptying the water tank
Empty the water tank completely each time you use the device. Unplug the power supply. Then open the water outlet cap (9) and drain the water out of the device.

Cleaning and maintenance

• If used every day, we recommend you carefully clean the device at least every three days. Also clean the device before and after a lengthy period of non-use.
• Before cleaning the device, make sure the device is switched off and the power supply is disconnected.
• If you do not use the device for a lengthy period, empty the water tank and dry the device to prevent germs or algae from spreading.
• Clean the outside of the device with a soft, damp cloth.
• Do not use aggressive substances such as solvents or other cleaning products.
• Limescale can be removed using a gentle descaler.
• Keep the device in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.

Advice regarding the disposal of waste

All the packaging is composed of materials that pose no hazard for the environment and which can be disposed of at your local sorting centre to be used as secondary raw materials. The cardboard may be disposed of in a paper recycling bin. The packaging film must be taken to your local sorting and recycling centre. When you have finished using the device, please dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way and in accordance with the law.

Limited warranty

LANAFORM guarantees this product against any material or manufacturing defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase, except in the circumstances described below. The LANAFORM guarantee does not cover damage caused as a result of normal wear to this product. In addition, the guarantee covering this LANAFORM product does not cover damage caused by abusive or inappropriate or incorrect use, accidents, the use of unauthorized accessories, changes made to the product or any other circumstance, of whatever sort, that is outside LANAFORM’s control. LANAFORM may not be held liable for any type of circumstantial, indirect or specific damage. All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability of the product are limited to a period of two years from the initial date of purchase as long as a copy of the proof of purchase can be supplied. On receipt, LANAFORM will repair or replace your appliance at its discretion and will return it to you. The guarantee is only valid through LANAFORM’s Service Centre. Any attempt to maintain this product by a person other than LANAFORM’s Service Centre will render this guarantee void.
