Location and installation
The Indol can pick up and leave air in different ways. Choose the one that suits your needs best. If you choose to get air cooler than +7 degrees, the electric heater will help the heat pump and if the air to Indol is colder than 0 degrees comes only the water heater to heat the water. Performance is specified at +20 degrees. Strive to give Indol air that keeps this temperature (or higher but max 40 degrees) and is heated as cheaply as possible.
Example: Indol is in a space that is heated with direct-acting electricity, the room next door is heated by heat pump or wood burning stove. Then it is most economical to take air to Indol from the room next door.
Depending on how and in what space you will install your Indol, you need different materials. Material for a standard installation will you find at page 11 and 12.

Depending on the option of picking up and leaving air, some accessories are required. Please consult your installer which accessories are required for the intended installation. The following are examples of accessories that may be required. (You may also need other accessories not included below). NOTE! Location and installation

Indol kan hämta och lämna luft på olika sätt. Välj det som passar bäst för ert behov. Väljer man att hämta luft som är kallare än +7 grader kommer elpatronen att hjälpa värmepumpen och om luften till Indol är kallare än 0 grader kommer endast elpatronen att värma vattnet. Prestanda är angivet vid +20 grader. Sträva efter att ge Indol luft som håller denna temperatur (eller högre dock max 40 grader) och som är uppvärmd så billigt som möjligt. Exempel: Indol står i ett utrymme som värms med direktverkande el,
rummet intill värms med värmepump eller braskamin. Då är det mest
ekonomiskt att ta luft till Indol från rummet intill.

The Indol can pick up and leave air in different ways. Choose the one that suits your needs best. · Inkommande vatten ansluts till anslutningen märkt med en 1:a, enligt illustrationerna ovan.
Incoming water is connected to the connector on the center of the machine, as shown above.
· Utgående vatten (det uppvärmda vattnet) ansluts till anslutningen märkt med en 2:a, enligt illustrationerna ovan.
Outgoing water, heated water, connected to the upper connection, as shown above.
· Säkerhetsventil (ingår ej) MÅSTE monteras enligt svensk lag. Avsaknad av säkerhetsventil innebär stor risk för person och sak skador! Från den skall ett rör/slang monteras som leder till befintligt avlopp.
Safety valve (not included) MUST be installed according to Swedish law. The absence of safety valve entails high risk of injury to persons and property! From it, a pipe/hose fitted leading to the existing sewer.
· Kondensvattnet från maskinens ena sida märkt med 3:a på illustrationerna, leds ner i befintligt avlopp. The condensate (2 connections)
from the back of the machine is led into the existing sewer.
· Luftintag och utsläpp finns på toppen av maskinen. Beroende på val av montering kan montering av ventilationsslang/rör behövas. Se illustrationer av möjliga alternativ på nästa sida. I vissa fall måste man kondensisolera utgående lufts rör/slang.
The air inlet and outlet are on top of the machine. Depending on the choice of installation, the mounting of the vent hose/pipe needed. See illustrations of possible options on the next page. In some cases, the pipe/hose for outgoing air need to be condensation insulated.
· Maskinen får sin strömförsörjning från en jordad stickpropp. OBS! Se till att maskinen är ordentligt jordad. Inkoppling i ett ojordat uttag kan leda till allvarliga skador eller dödsfall.
The machine receives its power from a grounded plug. NOTE! Make sure the machine is properly grounded. Plugging into an ungrounded outlet can result in serious injury or death.
· Anslutning för dränering/tömning av tanken markerat med 6:a enligt illustrationerna ovan. Om du behöver tömma tanken, anslut ett rör/ slang här. Connection for draining/emptying the tank. If you need to empty the

Kontrollera att alla anslutningar och el är fackmannamässigt anslutna innan Indol startas. Tryck sedan på “Av/På-knappen” för att starta din Indol.
First make sure that all water connections and electric are professionally connected. Press the “On/Off button” to power on the Indol.
OBS! Indol får endast anslutas till jordat uttag eller installeras av behörig elektriker. Felaktig elinstallation kan medföra livsfara!

Vid strömavbrott startat din Indol igen så fort den återfått sin ström. Alla inställningar finns då lagrade i minnet. During a power outage your Indol will restart again as soon as it regained its power. All settings are then stored in memory.
Displayen på din Indol slocknar efter en stunds inaktivitet, tryck på valfri knapp för att tända upp denna igen. The display on your Indol will shut down after a time of inactivity, press any button to light up this again.
Indol har högst verkningsgrad om den får suga i sig luft som är gratis/billigt
uppvärmd och gärna över 20 grader varm. Finns möjlighet att suga luft från rum som värms med braskamin eller värmepump så ger det högst energibesparing. Undvik att låta din Indol använda luft som värmts med direktverkande el. Indol has the highest efficiency if it can suck the air that is free / cheap heated and preferably over 20 degrees hot. Is it possible to suck air from the room which is heated with wood stove or heat pump, it provides maximum power savings. Avoid letting your Indol using air heated by direct electricity.
Det kan vara en god idé att programmera timern så att din Indol endast tillåts att arbeta under vissa tider på dygnet. Både ut energisparsynpunkt men även komfortmässigt. It may be a good idea to program the timer so that your Indol only allowed to work during certain times of the day. Both the energy saving point of view but also in terms of comfort.
Ju lägre inställd temperatur Indol har ju högre energibesparing får du. Prova därför att ha så låg inställning som möjligt för att därefter höja den tills produktionen av varmvatten räcker för just er. Prova att ställa in den på 45 grader första dygnet, räcker inte varmvattnet till, höj temperaturen med 3 grader, räcker inte det höj 3 grader osv tills ni hittat er bästa inställning. Vet man att större uttag av varmvatten kommer att ske under en tid så rekommenderas att höja den inställda temperaturen minst 10 grader några timmar innan. The lower the set temperature Indol has the higher the energy savings you get. Try, therefore, to have the lowest setting possible to subsequently raise it until the production of hot water is sufficient just for you. Try to set it at 45 degrees the first day, not enough hot water to raise the temperature by 3 degrees, is not it raise 3 degrees and so on until you found your best approach. We know that the larger outlets of hot water will be for some time, it is recommended to raise the set temperature at least 10 degrees a few hours before.

Tömning av tank – Stäng av maskinen och dra ut strömmen, stäng kranen för inkommande vatten. Öppna valfri kran, tex blandaren i köket för att lätta trycket i vattentanken. Öppna sedan dräneringsventilen och töm tanken på vatten.
Emptying the tank – Turn off the machine and unplug the power, close the valve for incoming water. Open any faucet, such as the blender in the kitchen to ease the pressure in the water tank. Then open the drain valve and drain the tank of water.
Kontroll av anod – Följ stegen för att tömma tanken. Anoden sitter på Supremes vänstra sida (framifrån sett). Se sida 8 i denna manual. den är markerad som nr 5. Anoden är monterad in i tanken och skall tas ut och kontrolleras minst en gång per år.
Checking the anode – Follow the steps to empty the tank.The anode is mounted on the left sida of the unit (seen from the front). See page 8 in this manual, the anode is marked with nr 5.The anode is threaded into the tank and should be removed and checked at least
once per year.
Luftfilter – Ett luftfilter måste monteras på luftintaget för att skydda din Indol. Detta filter måste rengöras eller bytas regelbundet för att din Indol skall behålla sin prestanda, livslängd och för att garanti skall gälla.
Air filter – An air filter must be mounted on the air intake to protect your Indol. This filter must be cleaned or replaced regularly to maintain the performance, service time and warranty of your Indol.

Luftfilter – Rengör luftfiltret en gång i månaden eller oftare vid behov för att garantera bästa möjliga effekt av din Indol Supreme. Air filter – Clean the air filter once a month or more often if necessary to ensure the best possible results from your Indol Supreme.
Anod – Kontrollera anoden varje år. Vid behov av byte, ta kontakt med leverantör eller servicetekniker. Anode – Check the anode every year. In need of replacement, contact the supplier or service technicians.
Om systemet skall stå avstängt en längre tid rekommenderas det att hela tanken samt vattenrören töms på vatten. I utrymmen där temperaturen kan sjunka till 0°C eller lägre är detta extra viktigt då vattnet kan frysa och orsaka skador på maskinen. If the system should be turned off for a long time, it is recommended that the entire tank and water pipes drained of water. In areas where the temperature can drop to 0°C or less, this is especially important when the water can freeze and cause damage to the machine.
Kontrollera säkerhetsventilen minst en gång per år. Säkerhetsventilen släpper ibland ut lite vatten efter en varmvattentappning. Detta på grund av att det kalla vattnet som tas in i beredaren expanderar när det värms upp, med tryckökning som följd, varvid säkerhetsventilen öppnar.
Check the safety valve at least once a year. The safety valve sometimes releases some water after a hot water drain. This due to the fact that the cold water taken into the dispenser expands when it is heated, resulting in a pressure increase, with the safety valve opens.
