WIRELESS DOORBELL

Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language. This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8 if they are under supervision or have been given instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety and they understand the hazards associated with use.  Children should not be allowed to play with the unit. Children may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision.

INSTALLATION

BELLPUSH: With a flat-headed screwdriver fold open the bellpush. polarity input of th LiSA (12 V) alkaline battery. Assemble the bell push so the gasket remains in its place. The bellpush is shipped with the battery! Fix it on the desired location via the adhesive strip. BELL: Connect the bell to a 230 V~ / 50 Hz network.

The unit being powered is signaled by a blue LED on it.

  • Replace the battery if the range shortens, or the volume drops!
  • Replacing the battery can only be done by an adult!
  • Replace the batteries if the range shortens!
  • If the batteries run out, or the device is not used for a prolonged time, remove the batteries immediately!
  • If the liquid has leaked out of them, put on protective gloves and with a dry cloth clean the battery compartment!
  • Do not open the batteries, do not throw them into the fire, or short-circuit them!
  • Do not recharge batteries that are not rechargeable!

Explosion hazard!

  • Do not place accumulators instead of batteries, because their voltage and performance is notably lower!
  • In cold temperatures, the performance of the batteries will diminish, and more frequent battery changes may be necessary!

SETUP

With the lower button on the side of the front panel of the bell, the desired volume can be set to 4 levels. By pressing the button above it the desired tune can be chosen from the offered 36 tunes. If the bell loses power, the settings are lost and must be set again.

CLEANING
Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaners or liquids!

WARNINGS

  • Walls and metal objects can shorten the range and may interfere with its operation (metal fence, door, gate…), furthermore, devices using radiofrequency can do the same (computer, microwave oven, television…).
  • Protect the interior unit from dust, humidity, liquids, cuisine, frost, shock, and from direct heat and

Caution: Risk of electric shock!
Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the unit or its accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the assistance of a specialist.

Protected against small ( >1 mm) solid objects
Protected against splashing water from all directions (non-harmful amount of leakage is allowed).

Waste equipment must not be collected separately or disposed of with household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function.

Dispose of products at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.

DISPOSING OF ALKALINE AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Batteries, whether alkaline or rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular household waste. It is the legal obligation of the product’s user to dispose of batteries at a nearby collection center or a retail shop. This ensures that the batteries are ultimately neutralized in an environment- friendly way.
