Areas of application/functionality
This UVC device ensures healthy fish and clear water. You can use it in ponds
as well as in aquariums.
The water is pumped through the UVC device with a pump. There it flows past a
UV lamp and is exposed to ultraviolet radiation which destroys the bacteria,
pathogens and algae floating in the water. This will clarify the water.
Operation
Turn on the pump and wait for the device to fill with water. Check all connections for leaks. The device is put into operation by inserting the mains plug.

Maintenance/cleaning
Always pull the power plug before maintenance and cleaning work. The device should be cleaned once a year. The UVC lamp should be renewed annually as the output is only around 50 % after one year.
- Pull out the power plug.
- Switch off the pump and make sure that it cannot be switched on again accidentally.
- Carefully loosen the screw connection at the end of the mains plug input of the UVC device (the large housing screw, not the one on the cable). Remove the large screw on the top of the lamp and pull out the device knob; then you can change the lamp.
- Detach the main unit from the filter cage.
- You can then start cleaning.
- We recommend cleaning the quartz glass with a damp cloth. Please only use water for cleaning, never sharp objects (screwdrivers, knives, etc.).
- Check the envelope for possible damage before reinstalling it.
- Return all parts to their original position. Finally, the O-ring is placed in the correct position through the clamping plate screw.
- When you reassemble the quartz glass, please make sure that there is no water in it. Please hold the glass with a dry cloth.
- When inserting the new hose, please remove the clip; this can protect the clip from breaking. If the O-ring is broken, it must be replaced.
- Please make sure that all sealing parts are cleaned and in their correct place, especially the Oring.
- Finally, switch on the power supply to the pump again and then switch on the device.
Wintering
- Clean the pump as described above.
- Store the pump out of the water in a place protected from frost.
- Check the pump for damage before starting it up again.
WARNING:
- The device must be disconnected from the power supply for all maintenance work.
- Do not use the device until it is COMPLETELY assembled.
- Do not perform any work on a running device.
- Never carry the device by the cable.
- Demount the device in case of frost.
