BRIO Metro Engine Railway Set - Overview

Note! The engine needs to be driving inthe forward direction when driving up an ascending track.
This engine has sound and light effects controlled by the train movements. When the engine is pushed forward, the metro train headlights turn on and the engine sounds begin. As you continue to push the train, the light and sound will continue to operate. When the train movement is stopped, the lights will turn off and the engine sound will wind down to a full stop.

Replacing the batteries:

The sound and light effects are powered by 2 x 1.5 V (LR44) button cell batteries. Use a screwdriver to open the battery cover (see drawing). Fit the batteries as shown (+/-). Close the cover and tighten the screw.BRIO Metro

Warning:

  • Dispose of used batteries immediately.
  • Keep new and used batteries away from children.
  • If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Important:

  • Only adults should install and replace batteries.
  • Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
  • Only recommended batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended (1.5V) are to be used.
  • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
  • Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
  • Always remove batteries if the toy is not to be used for some time.
  • Protect the toy from water or dampness.
  • Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries..
  • Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  • Used batteries and electrical components must be disposed of at an approved collection point.
  • Electrical components or batteries must not be thrown with household waste.
