  • The delivery of aggressive liquids (such as acids, alkalis, silo seepage, etc.) as well as liquids containing abrasive materials (sand etc.) is to be avoided.

Electrical connection

  • The electrical connection is made to a grounded socket 230 V ~ 50 Hz. Hedging at least 6 A.
  • The engine is protected from overload and blockage by an integrated thermal motor protection.

Mains connection

The acquired pond pump is already equipped with a grounded socket. The pump is intended for a connection to a grounded socket with 230 V ~ 50 Hz. Make sure that the socket is adequately secured and in a good condition. Run the pump plug into the socket. The pump is ready for operation.
Unpacking
Unpack the delivered parts and check them for completeness and intactness. If you discover a defect, contact your specialist dealer immediately. Keep the packaging and the operating instructions so that you can safely store and pass on the product in the future. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer required in an environmentally friendly manner.
Conventional use

  • The device can displace pond water with a temperature of +4 to +35 (the particulates size must be less than 5 mm).
  • You can use the pump for the following purposes: to operate a filter for garden ponds; to operate a water course; to serve as an aquarium filter to operate a fountain; to serve as circulation pump for swimming pools; to operate an aquaculture.

Safety instructions

  • For your own safety, please contact an electrical specialist in case of questions and problems.
  • Before reaching in the water, always unplug all power cords of devices in the water.
  • Plug in the pump only to a power receptacle with ground contact. This type of outlet must have been set up according to the respective national directives. Ensure that the PE conductor goes all the way to the pump.
  • Never use installations, adapters, extension cords, or connecting cords without ground contact.
  • Ensure that the pump is supplied via a residual current device (FI or ECD) with a measured residual current of not more than 30 mA.
  • Electrical installations on garden ponds must correspond to the national and international installation directives.
  • Only operate the pump if no one is in the water.
  • Do not carry or pull the pump by the connecting cord.
  • Keep the power plug and all connecting parts dry.
  • The pump may not be operated if the cable or the housing are defective.
  • If the power cord of the pump is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by a similarly qualified person to avoid hazard.
  • Never displace any liquids other than water.
  • Caution: The pump will stop automatic if working without water or overloading; it will work again after having been re-plugged in.

Installation

  1. Compare the voltage and frequency of your electrical circuit with the data on the item. The data must meet each other.
  2. Make the necessary hose connections (if required) or install a fountain attachment. After the installation, ensure that there are no air bubbles in the hose system (lay hose lines on an incline).
  3. Install the pump horizontally on a fixed support at least 20 cm under the water surface. Comply with maximum permitted immersion depth (see the information on the model plate).
  4. Lay the power cord in a protected manner to exclude the possibility of damage.
  5. Connect the pump to the electrical circuit.

CAUTION: This pump does not have filter basket, so the particulate size in the water must be less than 5 mm. Otherwise the impeller may block.
