SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using an electrical appliance, you should always take basic safety measures. Always keep the following in mind:

  • Read all instructions.
  • Check that the voltage of the electrical outlet is the same as specified on the hand blender’s nameplate.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it should be replaced by supplier, retailer, it‘s service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Remove the plug from the electrical outlet when not using the hand blender, before cleaning and before putting it in storage.
  • Do not let the power cord hang over sharp edges or lie on hot surfaces.
  • Do not touch the moving parts when working with the hand blender.
  • Remove the plug from the electrical outlet before you clean the hand blender.
  • The blade head part is not detachable.
  • Do not use the hand blender for anything other than its intended purpose.
  • Do not use the hand blender outdoors.
  • The hand blender must not come into contact with water or other liquid except for the blade head part during operation and cleaning.
  • The hand blender is intended for use in households or household-like environments, for example, in kitchenettes in hotel or motel rooms, bed and breakfasts, common areas in campsites or other environments where food preparation occurs.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
  • This handblender is not suitable for ice crushing.
  • Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
  • Do let the appliance rest at least 2 minutes between cycles! After operating 5 cycles continuously, the appliance needs to cool down to the room temperature to restart.
  • Never misuse this appliance. Care is needed when handling cutting blades, especially when removing the blender from the beaker and during cleaning.
  • Save these instructions.

GET STARTED!

Remove all packaging.
CAUTION: Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.

USE

  1. Clean the blender shaft and beaker.

  2. Fit the power handle inside the blender shaft, turn and lock until you hear a slight click. The marks on the power handle and blender shaft should now be aligned with each other. If this is the case, the blender shaft is locked correctly.

  3. Check if the power cord is not damaged.

  4. Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the power handle.

  5. Fill the food to the beaker (not more than the maximum indicated level).

  6. Plug in, adjust the desired setting, hold the power handle steady. Switch the appliance on by pressing the switch button or turbo button.

  7. Immerse the blade guard completely in the ingredients.

  8. Blend the ingredients by moving the appliance slowly up and down and in circles.

  9. After you have completed blending, Release the switch button, then unplug from outlet.
    WARNING! The continuous operating time must be less than 30 seconds. Never blend hot oil, fat or meat.

  10.  If your blender gets blocked, first stop and unplug before clearing.

  11. After use, unplug and dismantle.

  12.  Always switch off and unplug before cleaning. Please refer to the instruction in the “CARE AND CLEANING”.

PURPOSE

THE HAND BLENDER

  • Blending fluids e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices, soups, mixed drinks and shakes.
  • Mixing soft ingredients e.g. pancake batter or mayonnaise.
  • Pureeing cooked ingredients, e.g. for making baby food.

PROCESSING GUIDE

NOTE: Take 200 g carrot pieces per 300 g water.

CARE AND CLEANING

  1. Always switch off and unplug before cleaning.
  2. Take the attachments off.
  3. Don’t touch the sharp blades.
    CAUTION: Take care when cleaning the blades as they are extremely sharp.
    NOTE: Do not clean any part of the blender in the dishwasher.

THE POWER HANDLE AND POWER CORD

  • Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry.
  • Never immerse in water or other liquid or use abrasives.

THE BEAKER

  • The beaker can be washed in water with cleaning agent.
  • Wash and rinse thoroughly with water, then dry.

THE BLENDER SHAFT

  • The shaft can be washed in water with cleaning agent.
  • Unplug, let it cool down.
  • Wash and rinse thoroughly with water, then dry.

STORAGE

  • Store in a cool dry and ventilating place.

ENVIRONMENT AND RECYCLING

**** When the product is used up, leave it for recycling according to local waste disposal regulations. Note that the product must not be disposed of with normal household waste.

RIGHT OF COMPLAINT

By law the product must be returned to the place of purchase along with the original receipt in the event of a complaint. The user is liable for any damage to the product that
is caused by not using the product for its intended purpose or by not following this user manual correctly. The right of complaint will not apply in these instances.
